I've been tinkering with MERP lately, so I wonder if there's a place for the system on these boards. If not, I understand. If so, where would I put my stuff? Here in the Tolkien board? In the Non-TSR Classics board?
Keep in mind that I will be posting house rules as well as game mechanics. I am not exactly a stickler for canon, so some of my ideas may not be totally in line with Tolkien's ideas. However, they work for me and (hopefully) my group.

Tkdco2, thanks for the interest in MERP. I haven't played it for a number of years, but I suspect there are many here with similar interests.
Let's start by putting it in the Tolkien section, maybe with a [MERP] tag in the subject line. If we get enough threads on MERP I can make a subforum just for the game. :-)

Thanks, Finarvyn. I will post some house rules soon. Everyone is free to join in with their own house rules, of course.

I just ran a MERP game* today using Tabletop Simulator. Everyone was still learning how to use Tabletop Simulator, so the game turned out to be more hack-&-slash than I intended. Still, once we get the hang of it, gameplay will be much smoother.
* For some strange reason, nobody rolled a fumble in that game.
