There is a very rudimentary website up now at www.swordsandwizardry.com and it contains a link to the game's messageboards - which so far is just a bunch of grognards acting silly as we make sure the boards function properly. Stuart Marshall has posted the ASCII dragon, for example.

The artwork on the left is the cover for the core rules, and the artwork on the right will be the cover for the WhiteBox. We also have the cover of Knockspell, but that's not going to get shown until the first issue is very close to being ready.

I noticed the pdf and lulu links on the site didn't lead anywhere.
When's S&W (the core rules) going to be available (especially for POD)? I'm thinking I'll run Labyrinth Lord until I can get a copy and then convert the game in progress to S&W (since I can't get the OD&D pdfs to print out the way I want them).
I've already blown my budget (for a couple of weeks) on Fight On! though.

Core rules might be available as early as tuesday, if a hurricane doesn't hit New Orleans, which is where Red Priest lairs and does layout work.

Yeah, I'm this --> <-- close to being finished, but that bastid Gus just ain't cooperatin'. Between the evac preps I'm having to do with the day job and taking care of my own personal arrangements, I haven't had time for the last couple of days for the fun stuff. I can't wish Gus to the west, cause that's Houston, and it likely ain't gonna go east, so that leaves the La. coast. However, I want this baby to get into your hands, so I'll try to squeeze in what I can, when I can.

Just a quick note to say that the site looks great and that I included a link from my site's front page... I'm sure you're overwhelmed with hits now Obviously if you'd rather have no link (or none at the moment) please drop me an email and I'll take it down posthaste. The site looks good... and knowing little about 0E I look forward to having a good reference for all those times I've looked through the B/X books and wondered where something came from, only to find out it was a holdover from the original!

Awesome, it looks good!
Hey I'm still confused a bit about what is "core" versus what is "white box."
So, the text file that is available is the "core?" Or is that the "white box?"

So, the text file that is available is the "core?" Or is that the "white box?" The available text is the core rules, whereas the White Box has not yet been released and is a more close approximation of the 3 LBBs sans supplements or the references to Chainmail, which we obviously can't use.

And I'm eagerly awaiting the pdf version to see the layout and artwork. I'll probably just play LL with my current group, and bust S&W out for my old group after I move.

I love the art, too. Very appropriate, very evocative.

I also find the S&W cover art evocative. The more I look at it, the more I like it. I also love the font chosen for the S&W title. I think it's a great piece of work.
