Makes mapping fun?
"No, you don't HAVE to map... heh, heh, heh..."

I'll be curious to hear feedback on the article, and whether it achieves the aims I laid out for it Allan.

I'll be curious to hear feedback on the article, and whether it achieves the aims I laid out for it This is exactly the kind of article that we don't need out there, positing mapping as superfluous to gaming today gnomestew.com/game-mastering/gming-advice/troys-crock-pot-we-dont-need-a-mapper-but/Hopefully my article helps to dispel it already, but since most folks haven't read my article yet... ...I'll get Paypal configured so folks can order TTS#3 without being in-person at a con this week. (It's been a busy month+). Allan.

Yeah, I forgot to pick my copy up.
That article really pissed me off something fierce. It's full of many varieties of manure.

Ha! Tyranny of Fun spotted in the wild!
That's some mighty loaded language there.
OTOH, he also brings up something cool when he mentions other party roles: The Quartermaster. The Wizard's Apprentice. The Calendar Keeper. The Accountant. I'd probably drop the NPC tracker in favour of a group Historian or Minstrel, but that's me. I like the division of labour the article suggests. Gives everyone something to do, and works well for a cohesive party (probably less so for a band of backstabbing miscreants).

The Twisting Stair #3 is now out-of-print, and unavailable to order.
We've already kicked off our reprint request for TTS#3 since the initial run is sold out. It will be available again _at_ GaryCon next month, and then via mail order again after our return from GaryCon on 11 March 2019.
Thank you for your continuing interest, and patience!
Allan.

Funny thing is that I SWEAR that I ordered all three of these a year or so ago but have no memory of getting them, so either I never got around to ordering them or got them and forgot about them. And I don't see a post from me in this thread, either. Strange.
Any way to check to see if I made an order at some point?

Appreciated. It's probably a mess-up on my end (intending to do something and then not) but I have this strong memory of INTENDING on doing it so it bothers me when I don't remember ever getting or reading the product.

Hah I admittedly did this with the Yoon-Suin supplement. I could'a swore I had used a Lulu coupon on it months prior but when I went back through all my records and my horde of games it was nowhere to be found so I ordered it. Laf.
