Hey Mike:
Do you talk any about Dinkie Rizzle and his beef with Gygax and Kuntz in the book at all?

Oh, so we're back to denying Dinkie Rizzle's contributions as a player. Ok. Cool. I won't bring it up again.

Dinkie Rizzle sounds like a rap act that does weddings, or a Harry Potter character... can't decide.

I have no idea who you are trying to identify with the moniker "Dinkie Rizzle." And my patience is thin at the best of times. If you have something to say, say it in plain language. Stop wasting my time.

Pulled this out of Gronan's regular threads. Unless someone can explain the joke or explain an actual reference, this will be locked. All it seems to be doing is to annoy Michael, which I'd like to avoid.

Actually, that was one of my first tests. I should have posted to save you the ten-second search. At least we can laugh about this now. It was starting to look ugly.

Sorry to say it, but it reminded me of that scene in The French Connection where Gene Hackman and his partner are playing a surreal game of good cop/bad cop (or whatever it is they're doing) with a guy they just chased down.
Popeye Doyle (Hackman) to guy: "Have you ever picked your toes in Poughkeepsie?"

I'm wondering if the OP is some poor sod who was trying to make a joke and suddenly found himself being fed to a meat grinder tallywhacker-first.

I can certainly relate to attempting (in my head) clever satire and then being serenaded by a chorus of crickets. The poor guy, hopefully he wasn't scared off. Of course, a simple clarification would suffice as well.

I once had a girlfriend who claimed that 15% of my jokes were incomprehensible. "That's a fifteen percenter," she would say. She seemed to say it more than 15% of the time.
