Kumahl: "The invisible bug is the first priority. Waterskins need to hit the bugs first, the baskets need to get close. Even if the baskets fall close, we get them to step on them, we should be able to get a decent advantage."
"Any thoughts or questions?"
Kumahl will carefully drag the spore baskets to a location that they can be easily thrown near the insects. And he passes Huruyan a couple of waterskins.
Huruyan: "I believe everyone is ready."
--- The four guardsmen await the signal from Huruyan while Kumahl and Huruyan are in position to survey the clearing.
The insectiod near the gate seems to be sensing the air while it waits for the others to return. 18:00, Today: GM rolled 17 using 1d20. Does the "boss bug" sense anything amiss?
When the two return through the portal, instead of directly going to pick up another Qol body, they all three stand together. 18:05, Today: GM rolled 32 using 2d20 ((19,13))

Kumahl: Whispering to Huruyan, "Let the guardsmen know to move after we do. We catch as many as we can with our surprises. The guardsmen should focus on the bugs they can see. You and I will work on the invisible bug."
Thinking a minute, Kumahl checks his waist for the bolos, and then secures more netting from the porters.
Waits for Huruyan's input or signal that everything is ready.
Huruyan: "Wait for the workers to leave through the gate, we aren't in a hurry."
Kumahl: Kumahl nods in understanding to Huruyan, and will wait for the insectoids to leave through the portal again.

Huruyan and Kumahl see the feathery antennae under the insectiods head questing the air. One of the workers slowly moves in a zig-zap towards the waiting guardsmen hidden in the bushes.
The other worker circles the Qol on the ground while the "boss" stands near the portal motionless.
Kumahl: Whispering to Huruyan, "They are onto us. Focus on the gate guard first with the baskets and the water. Waiting on your signal."
Huruyan: "Right, let's go." With that Huruyan dashes out into the clearing and throws his basket at the worker near the gate.
Kumahl: Kumahl throws his waterskin at the same worker at the gate. His next act is to hurl his basket at the gate worker.
Hoping that they followed the signal to attack, Kumahl glances to the Clans Guardsmen, then joins Huruyan at the gate so he can take it down or apart.
