This looks like a unique system rather than a WB riff. Is that so? Tell us more good sir.

It is a unique system - similar to that used in Supers! except instead of dice pools it uses die types (D4 through to 2D10). You attack using a power by rolling your die type for that power and you defend using whatever power or skill or condition (conditions are kinda saves and wounds all in one)you feel is appropriate to the type of attack. You can attack once in a round (certain enhancements allow multiple attacks) but you can defend multiple times, depending on how many times you are attacked. However, you can only use each power or skill once per round. There's lots more to it and the downtime improvement system is something I haven't really seen before. It was liked enough to be picked up by a Spanish publisher...I suppose I need to support it, so maybe next year I'll bring out a sourcebook of some sort.
