Last night I introduced my 20-something nephew and his friends to Pendragon. They play mainly Pathfinder. They fell in love with the game. Score! Greatest game ever.

Given the subject of the thread I'm spending most of my time in, it probably goes without saying that I find Pendragon really interesting. I'm rather fond of Greg Stafford's Prince Valiant game as well. I often find myself trying to hack out mechanics from those games so I can see how they graft onto D&D.

In the next few weeks I will set up my own forum and run a few Pendragon campaigns. Are you interested in playing another pBp?

If you'd have me, makofan, I'd love to get in on the Arthurian action! What edition of Pendragon would you be using? In a forum like this, I might imagine the first! Thank you again for that really kind offer!

Pendragon is arguably the best roleplaying game. The design is a near perfect marriage of theme and game mechanics. And I can say the most fun game sessions I've had have been playing in King Arthur's Britain.
Sometimes I ponder how different the roleplaying game industry would have been had Greg Stafford been the creator of rpg's rather than Arneson/Gygax. It might be blasphemous to say around these parts but I think he is far more creative, a better designer, and a better writer.
