I bought Striker for the Traveller rpg way back in the 80s. I bought a handful of 15mm sci-fi minis, but even back then, it was hard to squeeze four of them on to a 1" square base (and with modern minis being 20% larger, it would only be harder now.) And vehicles were HUGE compared to the ground scale. It is now obvious what the solution to these difficulties is.
6mm figures and vehicles.
I have owned Dirtside II since the early 90s and it never occurred to me to try Striker in 6mm.
I guess this is another "to do" project for the future...

Brilliant idea. Yes, 15mm is way to big for proper Striker! games, I guess the scale was used because of the connection to Traveller. I remember looking at the Sword Words mechanised infantry battalion in the back of Broadsword an boggling at the figures and models that would be needed. In 6mm it would be a breeze.

I too am coming to the realization that 6mm is "The One True Scale™".
All jokes aside. I think 6 is the way to go. It's just so much easier to work with and paint. Plus with Travellers feel, you can mix modern era miniatures with the SciFi ones and do ok.
