Now let me make an announcement... the multi-adventure module Iron Falcon Adventures One is now available for purchase on CreateSpace.com and Lulu.com, and should soon become available on Amazon.com as well. Links are on my home page: ironfalconrpg.com

Thanks. And , yes: Vade Retro is for "Turn Undead". (It is the quasi-official translation used in the french D&D community; the expression came naturally to me).

I cast Resurrection on this venerable thread.
Anyone using Iron Falcon in their current gaming groups? I'm planning a primarily Basic Fantasy game but will be yanking certain rules from IF and Blueholme as well. I'd like to someday use it as the basis of a sandbox game by itself, too. My favorite aspect is the "create a game" toolkit via the campaign checklist in the appendixes.
I've been riding the 3lbb only train for OD&D for a while due to its iconic and freeform nature, letting referees fill in the blanks. I'm starting to see that this is still very much an option when only Greyhawk is added on top, and this clone is a faithful and easier to use representation of a campaign ruleset of that complexity.
If you guys never have checked it out yet, the pdf is 100 percent free and the website has some other handy play aids like a gm screen and spell book generator. Worth a peek for the Greyhawk faithful.

I found a copy of the Iron Falcon printed rules in a local used bookstore and snapped it up, but haven't really played it. I think that Chris did a stellar job on the rules, but between 5E, DCC, and the occasional session of Night Shift my group is mostly full of stuff to do.
I mostly read other rules sets for inspiration.

I hope it catches on and becomes a template for any future OD&D clones because ideologically, Chris has a point. It's impossible to not get "a bit of yourself" into the game. A checklist like this is really a good visual representation and reminder of what we all do when we run original D&D.

I think Gonnerman stated he actually intended to make a little money with each sale of Iron Falcon, unlike BFRPG. However, the price difference was marginal. I bought my copies of each in the same year and don't recall IF being much more expensive at the time. This was 2017, I want to say. They were both somewhere in the five to ten dollar range iirc, with BFRPG being closer to five.

Any thoughts on what you'll do with Iron Falcon if WotC bulls through with their OGL plans, solomoriah?
