I don't believe I've watched even one episode of this program, but at Half Price Books I found a copy of this RPG and I am very impressed with the system, particularly the Character Creation system which is very close to my homebrew methods.
Very simple d6 system, very non linear character creation and customization mechanics, and just an elegant and classy game. The art and writing are great. I will be writing a more comprehensive review of the system on my blog soon, but one thing I like about it is that it would serve very admirably for any sci fi setting and I'm thinking about using it to run a Firefly series of adventures.
Combat with blaster weapons and firearms is very deadly, though; until I actually try it I cannot make any judgments. You can die instantly with one shot--which is realistic but not very gameable as I found when running FASA Star Trek back in the day.
Has anyone used this game at all?
I love that you can just make up any conceivable character you want.
I'm going to let my players pick from the following styles: Smugglers and Outlaws, Mercenaries and Bounty Hunters, Science and Exploration, Military and Intelligence, or Other! And before play ever begins, I am going to let them design their own ship! Should be fun!

If it's the game I'm thinking of, I bought a copy used a few years ago when I started watching the Babylon 5 tv show. I got stuck in the show somewhere around the end of season 3 and never found enough interest in my friends to actually play so eventually I got rid of it.

I have the game but never got to play it. Maybe someday. I also got the Earthforce Sourcebook, which includes stats of major military personnel (inlcuding both Sheridan and Sinclair) and a space combat system. The starship combat system is based on the Full Thrust game, as creator Jon Tuffley of Ground Zero Games wrote the sourcebook.
