Necromancy because this lil thing is super cool.
As much as I am a lover of OD&D via S&W:WB, and now my favored use/ref/etc is White Box: Fantastic Medieval Adventure Game... I was re-reading the actual originals, and peeking over the likes of WB:FMAG and DD (which, as wonderful as it is is as oddly dense and oblique as the originals, to me anyway). Being brought up on things like B/X and preferring super-lite and easy games today like RISUS and ....well whatever... I need very clear, quick n easy, concise structure and presentation.
Finally getting a hard copy of this made me actually read it (heh....that odd curse of the age of accepting digital...still being used to print in hand...).
I dig this. Seems kinda a shame it’s been seemingly lost in the shuffle.

So, I must wonder.... thieves?
Will another revision or edition ever surface?
Is the author still among us? Does he care?
Does he know deep, dark, metal secrets we do not?
Will it ever have a name change to something more evocative?
Will GARF ever have a fall festival again?
Will the two pants sizes I lost of late return?
Will I ever find a tasty true vanilla flavor like I once got from V2 now that they’re out of business?
Will BOC continue to tour?

Were the author to find replacements for the comic book illustrations that were the likes of the super old school illustrations that fill the rest of the volume, it would be an A+ item, even though I believe it deserves (a 3LBB, or...I suppose...a FMPM iteration of) the thief class....
I guess it’s my Holmes and B/X worldview that informs that opinion....well....that and everyone I’ve ever played with since I started in fall of 1986 wanting every class of ‘the big four’ EXCEPT clerics....so..... heheh

I, too, would like an answer to these questions, along with some comments on how this compares to Delving Deeper. I never, ever heard about this clone among the others!

Hello. Sorry for the late reply.

Regarding the question: I may revise FMPM at one point, but I can't say when. I don't have any plans to include a thief class. I know that fighter/cleric/mage/thief are an iconic quartette, but I don't like the thief all that much, and it wasn't part of the original trio.
