"151 White Chaotic Morlocks dwelling in Decorated Pits. This demented population is enslaved by a extravagant Sorcerer that has an ancient thing."
Wow, there's a good story right there. Thanks for sharing this.

Glad you like it. I added a few locations and means of power/complications that weren't on my original charts. There are well over 400 billion possible results in that little generator.

I love it! I am also glad to see someone else is working on a project like this. Was afraid the Carcosa community was dying out.

That is not dead that may eternally lie, even when casting many a strange die.
(Couldn't help but type that)
Carcosa posts tend to get a fair bit of traffic, the place/people generator is 2nd most clicked post of day, week, and month. My old color carcosa map is one of my top 10 most viewed posts and still gets views years after it was posted.
Blog about it and they will come.

Broke the code for a few minutes adding some more data, got it fixed. Anyone think riding beasts are worth adding to the output? burningtorso- glad to hear you've found the map useful.

Definitely add the riding beasts.
Other ideas: * exotic trained hunting "hounds" * intoxicants brewed by locals * local legends * the possible but rare friendly trade village * local junkyards

I'd participate in a carcosa version of Dungeon Dozen. Most valued possession- a doll made by mother (hideous possibly cursed), a steel file for sharpening spears, a luminous green orb, set of shoes made from some sort of animal (hopefully nobody you know) a blade a hand long and half a hand wide, the skull of his previous rival, a strip of luxuriant fabric, a pouch of ashes, a book of secrets (blackmail) clay idol of nightmarish aspect, jar of iridescent beetle husks, robot-head helmet
Tattoos- clan insignia, serpent man glyphs (he thinks it means bravery, it means soup) the beast his people hunt, the spawn his people sacrifice to, stripes, desert camouflage, sorcerous incantations, a wound from which the equivalent of ants seem to crawl, schematics to alien device (roll to see if he understands them) weapons and symbols of power
