Very sad to learn that your stewardship of FO! will be coming to an end, Calithena. Kudos on doing such a great job!
I'm proud to have contributed a couple of things to FO!, and regret that I didn't contribute more.

Would a review/comparison of Mongoose's RuneQuest II and OpenQuest (a quasi-clone of Avalon Hill's RQ) be of any interest?

(LOVED the Duchy of Briz BTW, what a great little intro setting.) Thanks for the kind words! It was the setting for my summer S&W (+ house rules) campaign.

I'm about to order my print copies, but will contributors be receiving a free PDF?

My questions:
"Of your body of work, what are your favourite three pictures?"
"Who were your favourite TSR artists from the early era of the hobby?"
"Do you play any role-playing games now? If so, which ones?"
"Do you still play in a darts league?"

Hi Cal, I just sent you a revised version of my 'Duchy' article, as there were a few (very minor) omissions/mistakes in the version that I sent you on Sunday. No worries if you can't use the revised version. Thanks again for all your work on FO!

Hi Cal, I just sent you my submission for FO#7, a 'mini-setting' called the 'Duchy of Briz', along with a colour map of the duchy. Let me know if there are any problems with my submission. Good luck with FO#7!

Hi Cal, I could probably submit an overview of my campaign setting "Ilmahal" (nothing too detailed: essentially a brief history, some city summaries, and a few ideas for adventures), along with a colour map. The map and a quick description of the setting can be found here: akraticwizardry.blogspot.com/2009/08/ilmahal-overview-map.html

My copies arrived over a week ago. I've been enjoying dipping into various articles, but have yet to give it a good comprehensive read. It looks great so far, though!

I can hardly wait to dig into this issue! It looks brilliant, as usual. Thanks to Calithena for his endless labours, and marjasall for the wonderful cover.

I can't find #5 at Lulu at all now! (However, I received an e-mail message on the 2nd stating that my 4 copies were dispatched.) What's going on?!?

Now that there are four levels available for this, is anyone running it? If so, how is it going?

Would an outline a mini-campaign setting -- with a full colour map -- be of interest?
(Not sure if I can meet the deadline, however ... )

I can't seem to download any PDFs from Lulu now, for some reason. Argh! Anyone else ever have this problem? I've e-mailed Lulu about the problem, but am still awaiting a reply...

I can't seem to download the 'new' PDF at all. However, the original seems okay -- some pages load slowly, but they do load -- so it's no biggie.

I want to reiterate to you, Rob, that the Wild North was one of the most inspirational examples of a hex-crawl setting I've come across in quite some time. It remains amongst the cream of the Fight On! crop as far as I'm concerned and that's no small feat. I agree. I'm really impressed by the Wild North. And I'm looking forward to PoL #2.

This arrived in the mail on Saturday, and I read it before falling asleep late that night. It was a very fun (albeit in places disturbing) read! I'd certainly be happy to read more of Cal's fiction in the future.
The style reminded me quite a bit of Jack Vance's Dying Earth stories and, even more so, Gene Wolfe's Urth of the New Sun tales.
Since I was pretty sleepy towards the end, I can't remember if the ultimate fate of Cassander was ever revealed. I assumed that he died. Was he perhaps transformed into that ape creature?

Got this in the mail on Saturday. I've only skimmed it, but it's a fun read, although I doubt that I'll actually use any of the material in it. Nonetheless, it's always enjoyable to read the ideas of a very creative DM! Money well spent, IMO.

... - Akrasia - up until five minutes ago I thought your professions article was right after Knights & Knaves. Whoops. I guess if we can keep it I'll try to get it into issue 5. ... Sure, use it in issue 5 if you like. If for some reason you can't, let me know and I'll shoot it over to Knockspell.
