There is an obscure sub-genre of metal that emerged out of early 90s black metal called "Dungeon Synth". Perhaps the most 'famous' artist is Mortiis, who did a very exquisite album, perfectly fit for setting the mood of, well, Dungeon RP. Enjoy:

I play S&W Whitebox, how much more streamlined can it get? It doesn't even have (read: need) ability score rolls!

Swords & Wizardry WhiteBox is an excellent suggestion. It is streamlined OD&D, essentially. With its option for ascending AC it is a better suited entry-point into old school D&D, than the more faithful Delving Deeper. Philotomy's musings should do the rest in shaking off old habits gathered from newer systems.

Which are your favourite haunted house modules, official or not? As winter gathers momentum on the old continent, I am in a spooky mood.
Tegel Manor is an old favourite, but maybe there's an OSR product out there that surpassed it? Would love to hear your suggestions.

Yeah, pretty much. Doing this for a while now and wish to take it to the next level. I need some practice and a little money never hurts, so if anybody needs some cheap, but quality art, please send me a PM and we can work something out. Pencils or ink, doesn't matter, though inks will be slightly more expensive. We're talking about 20-30 bucks a piece here, depending on how complex the image is.

Outdoor Survival has a notoriously bad reputation amongst wargaming circles. I suggest you dump the game and keep the maps, it is most famous for being used by the OD&D crowd than for actual play anyways.
Advice for European enthusiasts: Buy the game for cheap on eBay, pay the full (but very low) price for it and let the seller throw away the rest of the game to save on shipping for the maps.

Man, how I have been longing for this boxed set. I think I was one of the first pre-orders. While I have lost faith in John as a business-person, working with him back in the day was delightful.

[Magnum] - Kingdom of Madness - Favourite: "Kingdom of Madness" [Magnum] - II - Favourite: "Great Adventure" [Warrior] - Let Battle Commence - Favourite: "Let Battle Commence"
I know, a little too "fresh" for your pre-eighties campaign, though for Goblins and Orcs attacking there is nothing better than [Exodus] - Bonded By Blood - "Piranha"
