With practiced ease, the party makes its way to the boarded up well, and descends into the well-trodden tunnel. The scene is the mostly the same as before:
Peering around the corner of teh curving ramp, you see every 30 feet along the north wall, a small sconce has been mounted on the wall, and a glowing spider-shaped light emitting an eerie purple light, is contained therein. Except for the main north/south corridor, all the non-dwarven doors look like they have been replaced with grates. At the main intersection, 120 feet away, two spider temple guards stand guard

Flandil is in favour of walking boldly forward and (preferably) bluffing our way past. The two guards would have to be fools to challenge a party this size. If they go for reinforcements, however, they will need to be stopped.

Skirvir observed how the more experienced adventurers in the company shared information with each other by non-verbal communication. A nod here, a look there. He would memorize their signals so he could read them better in combat.
"I will step forward ahead, to test if it may be a trap." Flandil says to Jariel. "I am sure that if it does prove to be some sort of deception, the rest of you are capable of rescuing me from an ignominious fate."
He then walks boldly forward towards the guards, as if he had every right to be here.
