You all wind up sharing a long table with a bench on either side.
"My shout, is it?" a sturdy fellow in leather armor says to the serving wench. "Right. Pint of bitter for me, and get these lads what they need." He lays a gold coin on the table and gives her a wink.
"Bisby's the name, Cale Bisby. And you all are?..."
"I will take a drink only. No need for food, I have already eaten a great feast earlier today." The Nordic accent is thick as Lögmaðr speaks to the wench in an amiable manner. He then turns to Cale to answer his question, an affable grin plastered on his face: "Well met Cale, I am Lögmaðr Dirag, here from the far off Frost lands to spread the good words and wisdom of Odin, chief god of Asgard." Lögmaðr looks to the unfamiliar faces present at the table with equal friendliness, "Who are the rest of ye, and why have ye traveled to here?"
This is my quest, to follow that star ... No matter how hopeless, no matter how far ... To fight for the right, without question or pause ... To be willing to march into Hell, for a Heavenly cause ...
"Good eventide to you fellow travelers. Rutgar is the name. some refer to me as Rutgar the holy. not sure how holy i am but I am a wandering cleric of the all might father Odin. A jug of mead, a haunch of mutton and some potatoes for me please."
to the innkeeper "And may the blessings of the all father be on all your drink and food my good sir"
The round-shouldered young man with the thinning brown hair props his staff against a convenient wooden pillar, drops himself thankfully down onto the end of one of the increasingly-crowded benches and drinks deep of the mug set in front of him before turning his watery blue gaze upon his table companions keenly.
"Amadeus Runequill, my masters. I trust I find you well this eve? My thanks to you, Master Bisby, for this welcome relief from the exertions of the road. Now, perhaps some more of that mutton and potatoes (and perhaps a spoonful of those delicious-looking mushrooms?) I declare there is nothing like good beer and fine tavern fayre to wash the dry ashes of trail rations from one's throat..."

"No offence intended, Master Hump - none at all. Who is a simple scholar such as myself to come between a Halfling and his fungi? This is a point of honour amongst your people? Fascinating; I must make a note..."
Quill and parchment are in the young man's hand in a flash. He is writing rapidly, feather waving in the air imperiously, bottom-left corner of the parchment dipped unwittingly into mutton gravy...

"Excellent, with a brother of the faith of Odin alongside us, We shall preach the songs of praise for our lord the almighty father Odin!" Lögmaðr Diragwill bump his jug of mead with Rutgar's if he is willing, in celebration of his new found ally of the faith. After this, he will take a large swig of his drink and after that speak to Bisby: "What brings you to the City State, Cale?"

"A stew of snails, a portion of ripe cheese and a quart of white wine for my supper", announces Quasmus the Cloaked to the serving girl as he brushes his spot at the table free of refuse. He raises his glass in toast. "Well met on the Twilight Road!"
"She? Herk?" The halfling's love of gossip causes Hump to be more bold than usual.
"Herk is my brother, Herk Bisby. The girl's name is Amanda Tanner."
Lögmaðr listens to this with great interest, and stores the names mentioned in his memory as knowledge of great importance: "Please Cale, speak more of what you know regarding the girl and your brother."
"Most travelers stay at the Wayfarer's Haven. The Misty Passage Saloon is primarily a saloon, though they have a few rooms (with or without companion). If you go to the Misty Passage Saloon, I highly recommend Crystal."
With a 10 SP = 1 GP exchange rate, if Cale has purchased drinks for everyone he's probably out a few GP (call drinks here 1-2 SP). Everyone who purchased food is out 2-4 SP depending on what you ordered.
Thursday morning my time, I will assume anyone who hasn't spoken up has taking lodging at the Wayfarer's Inn.
