You guess is completely correct! I only had time to quickly update the BHP website yesterday. I will blog about it this evening. Delving Deeper is still staying "in the family."

Cool. This also mean that our "pre-orders" will be special "limited-editions." :-)
Love to hear that it will remain in able hands and like-minded passion!

Yes Sir, "Immersive Ink" is me ! I'll be leading up the Delving Deeper support once it is "in the wild", but almost everything will still be produced with John and PHB. I say "almost" because I'm looking into doing a local print run here in Australia to save my fellow Aussies the outrageous costs of international shipping. It's still to be determined whether or not that is financially viable... we will see edit: grammar

Will the Immersive Ink site be up when Delving Deeper ships? (so everyone's "WAHOO! I GOT DELVING DEEPER IN THE MAIL TODAY!" posts have somewhere useful to link for future interested players)

I'll talk to Fin about it and let everyone know.

I really hope this comes together nicely. Not to be critical of BHP and John, but I sort of feel like DD got dropped because DCC RPG is so new and shinny. That's just my "feeling" and I don't have any ill will towards the delay or anything, it just seems that BHP has moved on and Simon is trying to hold it together. At least that is how it looks to an outsider.

Actually, Simon came on board by mutual agreement of the rest of the DD team. We felt it needed polishing and we'd all been too close to the project for too long. The project has seen delays, this is true, but I assure you work is moving forward.

I don't mean to make it sound like I don't think you all worked your tails off. I know that you (Cameron) and John and everyone else put huge efforts into DD. I can't wait to see it BUT, look at BHP website, DD is gone..... Which is really my point about how it looks to the outsider. I have no interest in DCC RPG, even though I love Goodman Games, what I want 24-hour news cycle stories on DD! What simon had for breakfast, whatever hacked email we can get from the copy people. Candid photos of the artists at work. You know the real goods! -Mike

Oh, I know. I was just trying to reassure you! Since the work right now is in proofing and layout, there isn't a lot of news to report ... so it seems rather quiet you know ...

Thanks for your interest Mike. I can't speak for John, but I can tell you I had a toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich for breakfast on the tram on my way to work this morning As for real DD progress, there is an "official" July update planned to go thru the usual channel (John's blog) shortly. It might also be the last update before DD is released, if all goes well. Without stealing John's thunder, to my best knowledge all there volumes have been written, revised, edited, and laid out (without illustrations). Vols 1 and 2 have also been proofed and corrected, and are with John in pre-production (where he will add illustrations and a table of contents). Vol 3 is presently in proofing. After that, it requires corrections and pre-production. That is how close we are people

I had some sort of granola, bark, twig bar with skim milk before writing the next-to-last Delving Deeper update and fixing some text changes to the manuscript.
But if it helps, my wife was very critical of me today when it finally rained after four months and she turned on the mini-van's wipers only to find one not working at all. She immediately called me asking me, "What did you do to the wipers." Of course, one wiper just broke without my help - probably an act of God or something...

mgtremaine's thoughts echo my own. I hold out hope and have faith in the talented folks involved, but I have to admit that the shuffling about sorta quenches the flame of excitement. I'm sure this will be renewed when it's eventually released and I see active support, etc. As long as there's a Lulu hardback, I'll be happy (as if I haven't already flapped my jaw about that enough).

No matter what label is put on it or what name of the company is printing the game, this board hasn't changed and support/discussion should be happening right here!

I’ll be honest: I purchased Delving Deeper based on the awesomeness of S&W:WB. Specifically, the obvious love that John Adams (not Matt nor Marv, sorry guys) put into his edition of S&W:WB. I’m still looking forward to DD, but it is deflating to know that John Adams isn’t in love with it.

It's never great news to hear someone is feeling deflated.
But I honestly can't see how one would conclude that John would give any less love to DD than he did to S&W:WB, or to any other product?
The way I see it, the fact that anyone would devote the staggering amount of time, effort, and money, and put up with all the issues and stresses around getting a product "out there" is a demonstration of love.

I continue to look forward to DD, if only because we need more boxed introductory games in this hobby. I can't wait to get my hands on my copy.
