I love the formatting of spells by type and level. While I understand why you put the range and duration information in the description itself, I think I would still rather have it right after the name of the spell to make it easier to find. Though, admittedly, since the description is so short (a big positive!), that info is not hard to find.
Interesting addition of Obscure Magic. I hadn't seen that reverse spell before. Did I somehow miss reading it in the original or in a supplement? I am not complaining, I think it is a great idea. In fact, I had never noticed that clerics could obscure evil in the LBBs before.

We tried various layouts with range and duration separate from the spell description, but they invariably add 5, 10 or even nearly 20 pages of white space to the whole volume. In the end the simplest and briefest format was most beautiful. Yes, there are a few extra "reversible" spells; tiny flourishes of authorship that give DD something that is genuinely its own

Yikes, definitely don't want that. But what I was thinking would simply be: Light (reversible, duration: 12 turns, range: 120ft) Causes an object... This wouldn't add length and all the "crunch" would be right at the beginning for reference. In the end, it really doesn't matter because the descriptions are so small.

Delta used roughly the same style of formatting for his OED: Book of Spells. Works well.

I really like that you have all of the spell descriptions on a single page(s). This will make it more convenient for a DM who wishes, for example, to print out just the 1st level spells to give to a new MU.
Noticed a few possible typos:
Purify Food and Drink: "Unholy water is also be spoiled" -> will also be spoiled?
The opposite of Detect Evil is "obscure evil" while the opposite of Detect Magic "obscures magic". Should these both be "obscure" or "obscures"?
I'd also suggest capitalizing the reverse spells since the standard ones are capitalized (or bolding or italicizing), though that's just a personal preference.
Cause Fear requires an attack roll - presumably a to-hit? Does Remove Fear also require that the recipient is touched?
(I'd be happy to proof more if you'd like a fresh pair of eyes).

Thanks Zenopus! Dave is coordinating the proofing effort, but I'm sure he'll be as appreciative of some additional pairs of eyes as I am

This looks absolutely incredible, will definitely be picking up the Box Set as soon as it is available.
Good luck, happy gaming, and thanks!

I think I asked somewhere, but I cannot find my post. Is there any chance of a race/class list for this game?

Same as 3LBB, plus an optional version of thief.

Perhaps also worth mentioning; the (chaotic) anti-cleric gets a few words too.

This may be a stupid question but how long will the boxed set be available through the website? You see, I would definitely invest in one; however, I don't think I will be able to afford it until the end of summer.

I understand how these are hard times for many people, but they will be available until my stock is sold out - which might happen before August. I have already sold 2/3 of them through pre-orders and sales have picked up lately as the project is getting close to being completed. However, I think we may be offering Delving Deeper RPG as a single volume sometime in the future too.

However, I think we may be offering Delving Deeper RPG as a single volume sometime in the future too. Hm? I thought it was already a 'thing' that DD was going to available in one volume on Lulu? Also, I'm wondering about the race and class list. This, plus another preview I saw somewhere...can't recall...it seems as though DD uses race-as-class. Why? I mean, I hope I'm wrong, but it makes it seem as if it'll be more B/X with d6 hit points (hyperbole, yes, but you know what I mean) and less LBB clone.

Hey Machfront! Yes, the single volume is pretty much a done deal -I just gotta get these boxed sets out first. But it will be on RPGNOW.com rather than Lulu.
No race as class in Delving Deeper.

Never fear -- Delving Deeper has the same race and class model as does the original, with the additional option of the thief class for those who prefer it. Men can operate in any of the four classes. Dwarfs and halflings can work as fighters or thieves. Elves can work as fighters, thieves, magic-users, or as dual-classed fighter/magic-users. Optional hints for other classes and general purpose dual-classing are provided, as per the original.

Any chance we can get a May Update or Blog post? I was sort of hoping this would be done by my Birthday but it's look pretty unlikely.
