I imagine it like classic episodes of Doctor Who, that we are budget-conscious by recycling leftover sets and costumes from other shows at the network. BBC is filming a Greek epic? The Doctor is going back in time to the Trojan war! Leftover bone-man costumes from Chainmail Carcosa? Hello creepy ray-gun skeleton dude!
I wonder if the spider goat ghoul suit still fits me?

Had Silussa died, I think that would have set my personal record for quickest death for a new character in a D&D game. This record is currently held by a goblin thief character I briefly played in Makofan's game, who was taken out pretty quickly by green slime.

Mayhem's spells: scroll with [bless, cure light wounds, cure light wounds, and detect magic], protection from evil
My record for quickest death was my first-ever PC, a red-box basic halfling named Frederick. He was killed by a goblin arrow, on the surprise round of a wandering monster encounter, en route from town to the dungeon entrance. It is amazing I stuck with the hobby after that brutal introduction to the game!
