There's also the part where Obi-wan says that lightsabers are still commonly used in some parts of the galaxy. And describing how Han was tracking the Star Destroyers in hyperspace. The radio drama also adds the part where the Tantive IV changes course while in hyperspace. I've seen things in the EU that state both of those things are impossible.

The 9th comment to the article mentions that Splinter of the Mind's Eye connects the SW universe to the Cthulhu Mythos. I don't remember that in the book. Can anyone enlighten me?

The 9th comment to the article mentions that Splinter of the Mind's Eye connects the SW universe to the Cthulhu Mythos. I don't remember that in the book. Can anyone enlighten me? The connection is the appearance of the god, Pomojema, a statue of whom appears in the novel. Take a look at Ol' Pomo.
