"Okay, you obviously know more than we do. Go ahead"
Kell frowns while thinking, then his brow clears he says, "Say! Didn't the Priests say for us to bring these guys along with us? Wanted their Temple represented on this excursion, make sure the Temple was in the lead...so to speak?"
"The same thing we did with this level, making sure it's safe for the Temple."
"Yeah, we cleaned up this level, but there's another one, or more, below it." Kell says with a grin, "Call up, clean up contractors. We had one of you Temple guys along last time, this time you guys get the honor."
"Let's go! Talking is just wasting time. If these guys want to let their Priests down its no skin off our noses." Kell turns toward the others and says, "Okay, now how do we open that secret door again?"
You march down the passageway, the secret door closing behind you, and turn the corner. You head down the steps to the landing, then press the brick that opens the narrow staircase leading to the crypts. You head down into the musty level
On the map, you are at the bottom of the stairs. You stand at the base of the stairs, taking a quick peek both east and west. You are in a corridor made of carefully worked stone, as if craftsmen had taken time and pride in their work. The air is extremely musty, and deadly still - no breeze or air currents disturb anything. The walls show a great deal of condensation, almost weeping water, and here and there stagnant puddles of water can be seen on the floor of the passageway.
The passageway you are in leads both east and west. It is completely free from dust or any other identifying marks. 20' to the east you see an open door in teh south wall, and to the west you see a closed door 30' away.
