For all of its many strengths, one thing about AS&SH that I found lacking was not having the charts consolidated, preferably in a screen format. So I got to work. After putting this together, I thought I'd share it. Have fun! Attachments:

Here's a pic of what I did (looking from the inside). I printed the pages to card stock, folded them, then taped them to cardboard backers. Attachments:

The outside is decorated with some of the larger pieces of art from the game. Again, I printed to card stock and taped them to the screens. And now I feel much better about running AS&SH without excessive rules look-ups. Attachments:

Nice work, thanks. I don't suppose you could upload the Word or whatever other format you used to create them with too, please? It'd make it easy then for folks to customize the charts for their own use too.
cheers! Colin

Great work, maasenstodt -- have an exalt! This is a very useful utility. I plan to print one, too! I wonder if we should make an "official" one eventually, a gatefold screen that fits in the box . . .

Nice work, thanks. I don't suppose you could upload the Word or whatever other format you used to create them with too, please? It'd make it easy then for folks to customize the charts for their own use too. I'm happy to upload the file, but I'm sorry to say that it's unlikely to be as useful to most people as I'd wish. It was put together using gobe Productive, a now defunct office suite that I've been using for a decade or so. While I could switch over to using OpenOffice entirely (as opposed to just for work), gobe Productive is one of those older pieces of software that I know very well and really enjoy using. Since it's still very capable for my needs, it's hard to give it up! Attachments:

You got another Exalt out of this!

This is an awesome GM screen. An "exalt" from me as well!

Not bad, although it has some unnecessary information: the saving throw table, for instance, is not actively used at the table, it is required only at levelling up (plus, it's easier to remember that SV improves every odd level). The combat matrix seems like a useful table, but it could be simplified to a single sentence: attacks hit if 1d20 + attacker's FA + situational modifiers + defender's AC >= 20, thus saving a lot of space.

Some of us like charts and tables. In all seriousness, I agree with you to some extent. I made a nice laminated screen with art from the book and tons of charts on the back (which looks pretty awesome, if I do say so myself ) but I haven't used it yet. It was so easy to memorize the basic combat numbers and saving throws, and when I need to look up something offbeat (like item saves) I just flip open the book. Plus a screen gets in the way of my melodramatic gestures.

There is a 2ft height limit on screens!

My melodramatic gestures don't adhere to FAA regulations!
