Apparently there is a plan in place to reprint the three 3.5 core rulebooks in September. I wonder if their plan to reprint core AD&D books has caused the company to re-think their reprint plans, or if they just wanted something to compete with Pathfinder?

Combined with the fact that they “got serious” with the 1e reprints enough to re-typeset them properly, I’d say this is a positive sign. I’ve always said they should quit wasting time and resources developing a “Next” edition, and just endear themselves to all their fans by supporting all the past editions.

[...] they “got serious” with the 1e reprints enough to re-typeset them properly [...] It that why they've delayed the reprints? I didn't know. I'm glad to hear they are taking the project seriously. I hope they keep a light hand on the blue pencil.

Not something I care about, but probably a positive sign. At least it indicates a willingness to embrace their back catalog more than they have in the past (especially when taken along with the 1e reprints).
