If we can get out with the loot and back to the tower we should. We can always come back later.
Kell will keep his eyes open for dangers and for any special treasures down here.

I think we should get the treasure out of here, rather than continue and try to fight while heavily encumbered.

Ok, that's four PCs in favor of hauling the loot to the tower, let's proceed with that plan.

Yhency and Indigo search the bottom of the pit for secret doors in the walls and floor, as stated before. I still suspect the white dragon had another form of egress.

We'll certainly search the pit for secret doors before hauling our loot back to the tower.

We'll certainly search the pit for secret doors before hauling our loot back to the tower. There is no reason not to while Kell and Patronis are filling the sacks.

A search of the pit fails to reveal any apertures.
There are probably about 50,000 coins here, a good mixture of copper, silver and gold, plus some gems, jewellery, and a scroll case and a small glass vial.
Every sack is loaded, everybody is weighed down to maximum encumbrance, and you stagger back to the tower hoping not to get in a fight before you get there
Finally you make it
Everybody rests, heals up, and counts the treasure: 7,752 copper pieces, 25,369 silver pieces, and 15,200 gold pieces, six rings, 4 necklaces, a glass vial of liquid, and a rolled-up, yellow parchment

William will cast Detect Magic, if nobody else beats him to it.

Alright, so decision time ... explore more dungeon or back to Verbosh? I could go either way on that.

I think we should get the jewelry sold. We have potential of a few folks making level, and MUs may want to acquire new Level 2 spell books.

Flandil seems somewhat more aloof than usual, specifically he seems to go out of his way to avoid William... truth is that he's very annoyed at being in debt to anyone, let alone a Human.
Flandil also thinks we should return to Verbosh.

Kell thinks a return to the city would be in order, too.
