Wow, those look fantastic!
I'd already pre-ordered the EO one when you reopened them for pre-orders in January, I'm super excited to see them complete!
EDIT: What's the best way to add the Mullen's one to my order, so that it's easy for you to see it as a single order?

EDIT: What's the best way to add the Mullen's one to my order, so that it's easy for you to see it as a single order? If you were one of the folks I emailed about getting a complimentary second box for the wait (if you ordered before January 20), then you are already getting a Mullen box. Otherwise, you just need to order one because adding two or three of these together does add to the shipping charge for me.

Ok, I'll just order the Mullens, then. I didn't get to order before you originally took down the pre-orders, it wasn't until Feb this year for me, so no waiting at all. I'll just put in a new order.
They look amazing, you should be pleased with what you put together, they're awesome.

From a strictly utility viewpoint, these boxes are sturdy and well-made. They are the sort of product that, if one possessed the capability, most of us would make to store our things in. They are good boxes in a time during which packaging is getting flimsier, cheaper, and minimalist.
I never would have thought a decent box would be so difficult to find, but John has done it. I recommend you grab a few while you can.

Fascinating. I somehow imagined you in something more of a waistcoat and short sword kinda get-up.
Also... Gaahh... it exceptionally windy in the Five Shires that day apparently. ;D

Would the three AD&D 1e core hardcovers all fit in it? How about the 1e PHB and the RC? Would there be enough room left for the DM Screen, a module, and some character sheets? I would love to see some photos with some sample configurations.

Falconer, the box is 2.75 inches deep. How thick is the RC? etc.?

I would love to see some photos with some sample configurations. Absolutely! That is exactly what I made it for! I will try to post some pictures later today.

Got mine last week--it's beautiful!
My eight year-old's reaction: "That sword is a magic sword of light!" Right on...

I finally broke down and ordered both. It's weird to think about ordering two empty boxes but with what I spent on JG materials lately I really need somewhere safe to keep them...
