Would anyone be interested in playing an online OD&D (or clone) game set in Middle Earth? I'd enjoy running one, and have a yahoo group set up for it, or we could do it here.

I am sorely tempted! Wouldst thou provide a few more details? Despite the name, I am not quite sure if I will run this in the Second Age, and will probably move it to the early period of the Third Age. It is set in a little known area of Middle Earth, so I can play with it as much as I like, but Dorwinion has the advantage of being near to Mordor, and all the fun that would bring, as well as being in the East, and thus part of the stomping ground of the Blue Wizards. ...and I'd vote for playing it here, since I could participate easily from my phone, too--my own personal Palantir... If you are interested, we woul have you, me, and one other player. This guy is a pal of mine, and not a member of OD&D Discussion. However, I asked him about your preference for playing it here, and he said he'd have no problem. I think we can start when and if we get a total of four committed players (not including me). |

I just noticed this thread... Don't know if you have seen the Moria game I'm currently running on these boards here? Initially 14 players signed up (and brought with as many hirelings with them too!)... but I think there are maybe just four or five who are posting semi-regularly now. |
