Fewer Rules, More Imagination! Prepare to be introduced to the old style of free form gaming! Swords & Wizardry: WhiteBox is inspired by the original 1974 fantasy role-playing game created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. These rules are flexible and open to interpretation – designed not to cover all conceivable situations, but to allow good Referees and Players the freedom to create and play games of their own design. This Boxed Set Contains everything you need to play: - 6″ x 9″ Game Box (This is an actual game box manufactured for just this purpose) - Four Rule Booklets (Characters, Spells, Monsters, & Treasures) - A digest-sized copy of Matt Finch’s, “Quick Primer for Old-School Gaming” - A Pad of 10 digest-sized Character Sheets - Set of Polyhedral Dice - An 11″ x 17″ full-color poster (not shown) Extra Booklets & Booklet Bundles are also available. Available now at www.bravehalfling.com

Is there any difference between the 1st and 2nd prints? Other than the poster and pad of digest character sheets (and the absence of a pencil and digest graph paper), the interior of books I & III has been corrected (chapter headers on the outside margin) and the covers of all four books feature the new WB logo. The 2nd print run does not include the bonus module going out with all the remaining 1st print run boxes either.

Well I ordered mine, hopefully giving the wrong address the first time through won't spell massive doom

Hey, that poster sounds like a cool idea. I'm not bummed about it though; my wife would never let me put up a nerdy game poster. Anyways, I was just curious. I'll be checking still for my box in the mail. (Although it's easy to wait; I get other goodies occasionally as well.)

The character sheets are definitely a nice touch, but I can't wait to see the poster, even if it will go with the stack of posters I have yet to put up...

John, if we paid for shipping, could the original 50 get a copy of the adventure, character sheets and poster?

John, if we paid for shipping, could the original 50 get a copy of the adventure, character sheets and poster? I don't know about the module. I promised that it would just be for the folks that had to wait the longest for the boxed set. Let me think about it. Remind me if I do not come back with a response.

Speaking of waiting the longest for the boxed set, could you let us know when the last of them ship out?

Speaking of waiting the longest for the boxed set, could you let us know when the last of them ship out? Oh, I'm sure I'll post it on my website and on the forums when the last boxed set from January is sent. It will be a day of liberation for this hobbit! The boxes won't haunt my my dreams anymore either.

Don't let them haunt your dreams!
I have received two Easton Press volumes and a couple of packs of lead soldiers since ordering WB, so I have had things to look for in the mail and keep me happy.

@john - fair enough. To be honest, I will pay for shipping and the cost of the module for all those pieces, perhaps we can dicker offline?
