Makes me wish I'd bought one, will there be another run after the initial orders are filled?

Was just wondering if you could let me know if mine (Jason Vey) was in the initial 50 run? Was curious as to when I'd get to hold it in my grubby little hands...

Hey, I'd like nothing better than to ship all this stuff to everyone! I'm so tired of walking & working around the piles of booklets, dice and pads of graph paper. Plus, my wife worries I might die or something and she would be left with all these orders to fill.

I'll be moving at the end of April, any chance that they'll have gone out by then? Otherwise I guess I'll have to make arrangements to get an alternate delivery address to you. Thanks.

The new boxes are due in less than 10 days, so don't worry - I hoping to ship every boxed set purchased before the end of the month. Ambitious, but I WANT to SHIP these boxes! My new box company is keeping me updated on the progress.

Out of curiosity are you actually making any sort of profit or is this strictly labor of love at this point?

Well, even if he isn't making a profit on this run, hopefully he will on the second and subsequent runs, once all the kinks have been worked out.

Yes, I am making a profit off of the boxed sets, but all the money is going back into BHP to increase our capacities as a publisher - professional layout software, industrial paper cutter, ISBNs,etc.
The boxed sets are a labor of love, but it is one MAJOR LABOR! I've been publishing for two years now and BHP has become my second job. And BHP pays for manuscripts, art...

Yes, I am making a profit off of the boxed sets... Actually, it all comes down to how you define "profit" because I'm pretty sure you aren't paying yourself for your time. Even if you worked at a fast-food establishment, you'd be making minimum wage for your time. You have to assemble boxes, deal with artists and authors, run packages to the post office, and so on. All of this costs you time, and I suspect that BHP isn't drawing that kind of cash yet. I'm glad you're doing it, however!

Yes. Basically, I'm working on building a foundation for BHP for the future. I'm in this publishing thing for the long haul.

Fin, that's true, but as soon as I started in on Elf Lair, I learned that you don't count labor. It's an investment, not something you count when determining profit.

thats what I meant, so no profit right now, just working in hopes of building the momentum to make at least a partial living later. Groovy.
