So I just spent a decent chunk of the afternoon flipping channels between Tombstone (Kurt Russell) on TNT and Chism (John Wayne) on AMC, and this makes me think about Boot Hill again. Among other things. 1. I own both movies on DVD but rarely ever watch them. But when they come on TV (commercials and all) I can't turn away. Why is that? I have the same problem with Star Wars, which I've seen a zillion times yet when it's on TV with commercials I sit and watch again. Strange. 2. I'd like to make a list of Robert E. Howard weird west stories. It would be fun to make a Boot Hill campaign based on REH. (I think it would be more fun than Deadlands or other commercial settings. REH was just awesome!) Anyway, that's on my mind at the moment.....

I watched Death Rides a Horse not long ago, so I'm aching for some wild west action myself.
