So, can Do'olnar's shiny new skill of "Tomb Robber" tell us anything about our surroundings or the bug we squashed earlier?

(Roll, roll, roll...)
The creature was a Dlaqo a "carrion beetle". A scavanger known to inhabit the Underworlds. The one you squished was rather small as they go, and dlaqo are known to avoid humans...usually.
They are also commonly encountered nearer to the Cities of the Dead (food aplenty) or waste sites, on deeper levels. Finding on the city and above ground as you did is quite uncommon.
The tunnel doesn´t ring any bells to Do´olnar, it is likely to be a much more recent (and shoddy) construction than the millenia-old passages he´s more used to.
So the party advances foward...more to follow.

OCC: back in business.
You enter the room. It is oval-shaped, maybe some 50 feet across and 30ft wide, looking like a natural underground chamber which was worked and expanded by human hand. The rough floor, ceiling and walls are made of rock. There seem to be several holes of various size on certain spots on the walls as well as another arched tunnel like the one you exited from on the other side of it.
More importantly, you detect movement, then some clicking and chittering on the further part of the room. Then you see it, another dlaqo beetle, similar in all to the one you faced before but half again as large. This one looks much more menacing and dangerous, its mandibles seemingly large enough to grasp and cut a man in half.
The dlaqo does not appear to be aware of your presence, in fact the rear end of its abdomen is facing toward you. It stands 40ft away.
Statements of intent, please.

Do'olnar readies a dagger to throw and steps, taking care to be quiet, to the right and forward to allow Tregarsh past. I will keep an eye on the "holes of various size" near me, expecting more Dlaqo beetles to put in an appearance.

Hrahyosh looks like he's hoping to sneak up behind the beast. He looks at Teregash his eyes questioning him as to if he'll quietly join him, and signals the lantern boy to dim the lighting in the hopes that the dlaqo will not take notice.

Issa leans her spear on her left shoulder. She takes out her sling and loads a bullet in the cup. She doesn't swing it yet but waits to see what the others do and if more beetles come.

Trinseg will keep an eye on th eother tunnel entrance.
OOC: Assuming we entered the room from the east, which way does the long axis of the room run, i.e., north-south or east-west? Also, where are the 2 tunnel entrances?

OCC: boy, that's the most cautious party reaction I've ever seen to gaining surprise on combat round. I was expecting everyone to rush the creature. OCC: the room runs in a east-west axis, the two entrances are on the opposite ends.Teregash and Hrahyosh move stealthy and manage to reach within striking distance of the large dlaqo...and attack. Both weapons hit home and do horrendous damage to the dlaqo's backside, particularly Teregash' axe which cuts a deep wound of streaming ichor. The reaction of the insect is instantaneous and surprisingly fast for a beast so large, it turns around hissing and clicking, antennae and mandibles flailing wildly. Then Issa lets loose the bullet from her sling and hits it smack on the head, causing little harm but distracting the beast momentarily. Do'olnar had been observing the curious holes in the walls but nothing emerges from them. Hrahyosh continues his attack. He'll flank a bit if he can, so that ranks behind can get hits in as well. Also trying to find that sweet spot he found behind the head armor of the smaller Dlaqo. OOC: Rushing 10 feet, ok. Rushing 40 feet, that just seems too far. Just about the right time for the Dlaqo to whip around and get those mandibles ready for our arrival. Sneaking seemed to be the better idea.

Hredarru, satisfied that no other bugs lurk about ready to pounce, rushes in to slay the monster before it can tear and shred his companions, taking a rear or flanking position if one is exposed.

Do'olnar continues to watch for additional attackers, both from the hole and the tunnel entrances.
OCC: Sorry but I don't think I'd be of any help with the beetle and the holes still worry me.

The dlaqo moves faster than any of our heroes and lunges its mandibles at Teregash. Fortunately the warrior dodges out of the way and with a war cry on his lips strikes. He misses but Hrahyosh, having positioned himself for a better blow, hits it on the head.
Issa comes next, the young woman strides the distance separating her from the fray with her spear held in both hands. As the fates would have it she finds an exposed spot of the creatures underbelly and drives her spear in deep into the belly of the beast. She must have hit a vital spot for the giant insect suddenly collapses and stands still, with no clicking, hissing or flailing of limbs.
The Dlaqo is dead; what does the party do?
OCC: we're out of combat.

Well and truly struck, most noble warrior!
Do'olnar continued to watch the holes and entrances. Do the holes look more natural/created by animals, or could they be man-made/crypts? Also, does Tomb Robber suggest that dlaqo retain items from the carrion they find?
Do'olnar motions for quiet.
Listen! The battle may have attracted attention.

"La, Hrugga has returned as an Aridani."
Trinesh looks to see what the dlaqo was doing before we attacked. Some mighty warrior needs to watch the western tunnel entrance while we search this area.

Hrahyosh listens to his companions, without moving from the Dlaqo, and listens for any more scuttling, or any noises, other than his companions. After a moment or 2, he rolls the dlaqo over, so Issa can recover her spear. He catches her and Teregash's attention. A quiet and clipped, "Nicely done" are his only words.

Hredarru checks the edge on his scimitar and wonders why he didn't bring a spear. From the looks of these dlaqos, he thinks, perhaps a pike would be best.
"Well done", Hredarru nods at Issa, then says to his companions, "all of you."
The fighter ponders momentarily on the value of dlago mandibles, then sheathes his scimitar and begins to inspect the area for signs of other bugs.

La! Once we have examined the room, lets see what the holes hold.
Do'olnar grins. Is the floor bare stone? Is it worked? If there is trash or dirt, is it deep enough to cover anything of value? If someone will lend me a pole, I'll do some poking around. Once the room seems covered, I'll turn my attention -- carefully -- to the holes.

The holes in the wall where clearly made by Dlaqo beetles, they are similar to the holes a scarab might bore on wood albeit on a much larger scale.
Here and there on the room stony floor are scattered old bones, near where the Dlaqo died stands a structure of some kind built with these. It looks like...a nest maybe?
At the other arched exit Teregash sees a tunnel much like the one that brought the party here leading off into the distance and into darkness.
