Oh, it's understood that I can't say anything now. And I wasn't really complaining. But it's also easy for us to come out of the Warehouse and have him say, "What? I didn't hire you at all. Get out of here." As someone who has lived very near the Salarvyani, hearing alot, he'd be somewhat leery of trusting him. Even though he has seemed very reasonable so far. The 3 cousins sound much more Salarvyani, but of course Hrahyosh doesn't know about that. that's why I'm typing here.

A kyni (falcon type bird) in the hand is worth 2 in the feshenga ( a nasty predator). I tend to agree about having the gold with us, but........ No doubt, if he plays us false hopefully a series of unfortunate events will to occur to him.

I have gone through the character rooster and added two new derived values and corrected some ACs.
There are a lot of people without head protection, remember not wearing a helm decreases the AC from armor by 1 while wearing a closed/full one increases it by 1. Even if no armor is worn helms afford protection and can be combined with shields.

Can the sorcerors were helmets and if so open or closed?

Yes, and both.
However since full/closed helms affect perception they might also decrease a sorcerer's chance to cast a spell; unless the full helm was something designed to be worn by spell-casters, like the masks and headdresses of certain priests.

Hello, all. I'm happy to be joining you and will be up to speed as soon as I can. Please don't expect SUUSHIH's encyclopedic knowledge of Tékumel, but I'll do as well as I can.

Er, ... Tomb ROBBER 40%. Sorry. What does it do, if anything? Your guess is as good as mine; the previous player of Do´olnar effectively created a new skill. I would say ir represents experience in previous Underworld delvings and might be used to date and recognize areas of the Tsuru´um, some of its creatures etc. Like a specific form of the "Knowledge" derived roll. DM: You listen but hear nothing. Player: I listen extra HARD! DM: Oh, in that case.... (Rolls encounter dice)" "Overheard" at a gaming session, thankfully one of which I was not a part. Priceless!

Edsan and Gang
My schedule of late between work and family has been crushing my free time. I'd like to ask OOC here as to whether or not you'd like to see my spot filled in by a more active player, or if you don't mind my unexpected sporadic presence in the game.
This is only my second foray into PBP, and I'm not sure of the exact protocol when a player hasn't been posting. Rather than languish in inactivitiy, I figured I might as well ask here. Maybe PBP just isn't for me?

Sham, I have no problem with your "sporadic posting". We have a large group and not everyone can or needs to post in every single non-combat scene.
If we are ever in combat and you can't post because you're busy I can run your PC for that round and just assume he just defends himself and fights back attackers, no probs.
I'd like you to stay in game, as long as you feel you're having fun.

Oh, I am enjoying the game, and I would like to stay in he group. I just get pangs of guilt when a few days slip by and I haven't posted. I know everyone gets busy, but the past 10 days here have been exceedingly tiring. I' happy to hear I can stay onboard, thanks!

Alas, let lamentations ring throughout the Empire. Captain Harchar has voyaged to the Planes Beyond.

I started a temporary job today so I was cut off from the internet for most of the day. I'll post for the adventure in a couple hours.

And the couple of hours turned into whole freakin' days.
I'm tired from my new job at the renevue office but I swear I will continue with the adventure today. Sorry about the delay so far, guys.

Trinesh tracked him, using a clairavoyance spell, to Portugal, at a temp job. We are guessing that he just doen't have Internet access.

So long as there is a break and this is OCC, I would like to say I have been following along, and I am enjoying this. I am surprised, because I didn't think Play by post had any potential, because I assumed the action would be too slow. This has been a bit like reading a serialized novel, and, honestly, kinda suspenseful. Even if not intentional, the current lull makes a great cliff hanger.
If people don't like observers posting in the OCC thread, I would like to suggest a kibitzers thread. I am betting there are others lurking, observing your progress.
