So, we moved some rooms around at the hotel de Scaly and my gaming room was displaced into another room. It was a pain as there was a lot of books and games and shelves to move around as well as computer stuff.
The good news is that I now get to paint the new room any color I desire.
What color should I paint my new game cave? What color says 'gaming' to you?
Early thoughts for me are a gun steel Navy gray, or some shade of olive.
Do you have a game room? What color are the walls?
Thanks

Field gray, terra Cotta red, or blue. I have had all of those in my game rooms over the years I think the "blue room" was the most fun

As the Stones once said, "Paint it Black".

I'm thinking about adding a few cheaply framed Frazetta prints to my office, which is a light beige.

I'm fond of rusty Corten steel.

I would say "vantablack" but that is not dark and edgy enough for me. I'm more a "Johnny Cash"-black sort of guy.

If I had a game room, the walls would probably be a nice knotty pine.
Or even that cheap 70s wood paneling looks pretty nice to me.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check some of those out.
I forgot to mention the room was my daughter's bedroom and currently is a shade of pink, thus the more urgent painting need.

Given the heading of this thread, maybe you're looking for a brittle gray? Or a bone white? Or, maybe it's one of the others with prints? Also, if you have Pink, somewhere there's Floyd... you'll have to decide how and if to bring him out!

I'd get a professional artist to paint 360-degree, psychedelic, Erol Otus-style phantasmagoric scenes born of a mushroom-induced nightmare.
But that's just me.

What about Piet Mondrian-styled black & white grid patterns with areas filled in with only primary colours like Red, Blue, Yellow, Jale, Ulfire and Out of Space? Basically like this: Although, some colours do not show up well to the human eye.
