... is happening because I'm running it!!!
Four linked 4-hour sessions over the weekend. Anyone can join at anytime.
System: "White Box" OD&D plus Greyhawk (and some of the other supps like EW, issues of the TSR and JG's Ready Ref)
Level: characters start at around level 3 (5000 xp each)
Combat System: chainmail-like sequence, group/faction initiative, individual dex can negate surprise, weapon class rules in effect, variable damage in effect, randomized missile targets from M and L ranges...(may do weapon type vs AC, since I'm making the characters)
Setting: My homebrew setting. Messoria
Schedule:
"Ill Met in Merseyhomm" Friday, August 31, 7pm - 11pm
"Missing in Galshill" Saturday Sept 1, 11am - 1pm and "The Stone Serpent" 7pm - 11pm
"Return to Merseyhomm" Sunday Sept 2, 11am - 1pm
Game Descriptions (i.e. what I provided to FanExpo, games may vary)
Game 1: Ill Met in Merseyhomm
Our heroes are hired to escort a peculiar monk and his mysterious cargo to the northern outpost of Galshill. A simple enough task but not all is what it seems. This adventure takes place in Messoria, my homebrew setting, and uses the Original 1974 “White Box” D&D Rules plus select Supplements. Get the feel for the Original FRPG. No experience required.
Game 2: Missing in Galshill
The perish priest of Galshill has gone missing. Rumour has it that the priest was acting peculiar before disappearing. All clues point to the mysterious rift in the floor of his study....
Game 3: The Stone Serpent
Rumour has it that hidden somewhere in the Fin Mountains, north of Galshill, there is an abandoned tomb to an ancient Dwarven King filled with untold treasure but guarded by a legendary beast....
Game 4: Return to Merseyhomm
Our heroes must return an important artifact from the remote outpost of Galshill to the high priest of Merseyhomm. But are they being followed? Why and by whom?...
Hope some of you out there are interested.
Cheers!
