Actually, to the knowing eye, the location has already been spoiled, if you will. Only one place on Tamriel with quite that geography... And we have seen it already in an earlier game... ;D

Will this one be online-only as well?

From what I understand, it's supposed to be a solo title, though, looking at what some other games in the Bethesda line are (apparently) trying, it might get a multiplayer option, as well.
- Myself, I've played a number of the TES titles, even before the line rose to the heights where it is now. I love the story, the general setup, and how much love it gives fantasy and gamer culture references in general. That all said, I am not going near any of the online stuff, and if the new game somehow wants to force me into voice-chatting with 13-year-olds, then I'll be happy to read a good book instead of playing.

@rafael - I played TESO for almost a year and enjoyed it, up to the point where I got bored with playing the Aldmeri quest line, because I simply cannot stand the Aldmeri Dominion - Skyrim cured me of that! I haven't picked it up since, mainly because I'm waiting for TES VI and TESO is just too time consuming.
I am also looking forward to a new TES experience, and yes, the terrain could be a giveaway, but I'm still not 100% for certain... they like to throw us curve balls! Especially if they are looking at other lands, potentially... *cough*Akaviri*cough*

Sorry if my comment above was a bit harsh, by the way - I personally notoriously don't seem enjoy online gaming, but of course I don't mind that others do. All I've heard from TESO was exceptionally positive, no question: I always sort of thought like the series needed something like that, to streamline its lore, and to give people an idea of the world's global conflicts, as opposed to the "pocket perspective" the solo titles granted. If at all, I am a bit said that the TES never quite branched out into other media as other games did - because this way, interested parties miss out on the online game's story almost completely if they don't play. - And while that is certainly understable from a marketing POV, people like me, who have neither the time or the energy to play a potentially very time-consuming online game then are bound to miss out on this global perspective. ...A bit of a luxury problem, though, which is not a bad thing to have. I am also looking forward to a new TES experience, and yes, the terrain could be a giveaway, but I'm still not 100% for certain... they like to throw us curve balls! Especially if they are looking at other lands, potentially... *cough*Akaviri*cough* Yeah, I'd also vastly prefer it if the new game really went on to explore new territories; especially Skyrim had some pretty definitive endings to some of the setting's biggest plotlines: The Septim line and its origins, the Falmer, the Dark Brotherhood, the Elven conspiracy, the Tribunal's ultimate fate, and so on. Plus, also game-wise, one literally became the setting's "Silver Dragon Jesus", which is difficult to top within the narration: So, the Nerevarine (woot!) and the Dragonborn are out there; what does this world still need heroes for? Now would simply be a good moment to abandon Tamriel for a while, and focus on new, fresher things. What we're going to get, though - I am pretty sure of that -, is going to be another soft reboot, similar to how Skyrim did a soft reboot to Oblivion. I don't mind that all too much, especially because there will likely be ten years between the release of TES V and TES VI. - That said, as immersive as those games have been, it feels to me like I barely finished "Daggerfall". It's kind of strange to "already" watch them do the sequel, if the rumors about Hammerfell are to be believed. By the way, to contribute something of value in between all my rantings - I am pretty sure that one of my favorite fantasy series, "Magic in Ithkar", was a pretty important influence on TES. If you find the time, you might enjoy checking that one out. (It's only available as second-hand books, these days, so for five bucks you will buy the entire quartet. )

I don't know how I feel about this now title. I was not content with Skyrim. The game looked fantastic, but is was deeply flawed. The game put everything out for you on a silver platter — with free sweetrolls — to where it feels like you never get challenged nor really earning anything. The factions left too bland. I'm not a fan of skill-trees. The dragons quickly lost their spender with how frequently they appear and how easy their are to take down, and the main quest sucks. The vanilla game did not give you any breathing room. As empty-with-cookie-cutter-assets a game Daggerfall was, it at least had a lot going for it to be a game that you can play over-and-over, with each game being a new experience.
Although, I did enjoy not having to front-load my character with a messy, convoluted CharGen system: You have the freedom to play your character as you wish... Within the confines of what the game (and any mods) allow. So I can quickly jump into a new... Oh wait... You still have to play though Winterun.
One personal annoyance that I could not get over was the Temple of Dibella. It felt like an out-of-the-way convent to the god of drabness and the cold, than the brightness and warmth that comes of the goddess of love, beauty, charisma and sensuality. That place felt colder than even Skyrim itself! Yes, I know they drained the sexy out of Elder Scroll years ago, but if you can't even get what is essentially a temple of a sex goddess to fit right in your fantasy world, you have no idea what you're doing! This is personal to me, as I see this type of thing as an essential (and historic, with regards to ancient religions), but criminally overlooked and omitted aspect in more "polite" mainstream fantasy settings. The only thing that made the game worth playing are the game mods. From all the silly ones, like turning dragons to Macho Man Randy Savage — OOH YEEEEAH!!! — to those that expanded the game in a meaningful way (fixes & interface improvements, additional quests, navel features, additional places to explore and people to meet, etc. etc.). Unfortunately, the main site/community that is the hub of Skyrim mods had kinda gotten stupid with things. (Oh and pray to the game gods that the mod don't crash or brake your game!) I'm holding my judgment until I get something more concrete... And to give the developers more time to get things right. I'll just keep my expectations low... Really low...

I... I just stumbled over this video. It is too IMPORTANT not to share:
The music is quite beautiful, though - seriously.
Also, I hate crabs. More than halflings. Which is inconvenient, because there are no halflings in real life. Crabs are, though.
