Heading North the natural passage turns West and then North again, traveling some 30 feet, with the narrowest section about 3' wide before opening into a 10' passage heading North.
The 10' passage goes 10' and then T's into a 10' East/West passage that immediately turns North either direction (so the entire East/West passage is 30' long with opening North, opening South, opening North). The Western passage North has an immediate 10' opening West while the Eastern passage has an immediate opening 10' East. It looks like those passages end with a total of 30', You can't see the "inside" walls of those passages yet.
And now is probably a good time to ask again how you want to do mapping? Shall I map for you, or do you want to attempt to map from my descriptions? If the latter, feel free to ask any clarifying questions (and even show me your map and until we get a rhythm I'll help iron out any issues - I would take this as an opportunity to develop a descriptive method that works reasonably well).

Quasmus has er produced something somewhat useful, but it's a bit fiddly and I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to have an "approved" map.
As for east or west, difficult to make a decision based on anything other than whim at this point. To the west seems "away from" and to the east seems "into" the compound, but that's only relative to the extent of our current knowledge of the layout.
ffilz, you state that "It looks like those passages end with a total of 30'". Does that mean the east and west passages extend 30' north and come to dead ends?
As to the map, if you'd like the challenge of producing a map from my descriptions, I'll work with you, or you can do a rough map (say a node map) and I'll give at least some indication if you might have come back to a room or passage you've already been in, or I can share from my map as you explore.
If no one wants to try their hand (doesn't have to be the player of the PC drawing the map) at some kind of map, then I'll go with sharing from my map as we go.
