If I were going to ever do it, I would just eyeball things and convert in my head on the fly. I steal borrow stuff from all over and I never worry about what an exact conversion would be, I just do it on the fly and whatever I come up with will just have to do unless I decide after using it for a while that I need to tweak it a bit one way or the other. I think it falls under, don't sweat the small stuff.

That does look pretty cool! Like @theperilousdreamer says, just wing it. Covert whatever is in there to the nearest OD&D equivalent, and away you go. The beauty of OD&D is that you (well, I, anyway!) don't have to worry so much about game balance - if the characters are too stupid to be tricky, or at least to run if all else fails, they die. I have to say, that's a lot easier to do with 5E than with any other edition (including AD&D, if it involves all those rules like weapons vs. armour that I never grokked). There is much less to 5E core than to most other "new" editions. But can you really trust a company called "Hydra Coopoerative"?
