Well, they're up! And I'm completely overwhelmed by all the events going on...
I am convinced that I chose the right Con for my first, even if that process took me thirty something years of gaming.
I'm curious what everyone else is planning to play/attend and how the heck does everyone decide, especially since it seems that pickup games are also a lot of fun?

I'm a bit overwhelmed as well.. I only want to do 3 things when I'm there (only Friday and Saturday)
Play OD&D, AD&D 1e, and perhaps learn how to play Chainmail.
If I accomplish those three things, I'll be happy.

Well whatever you don't sign up for, I'm trying to set up an OD&D forum meetup and maybe we can play together or something on Friday or Saturday night.

I had a lot of wants, and yeah, I've gotten some stuff. My wife forgot that registration opened today and isn't around and we needed to coordinate as our daughter, Ro, is a spectator badge and we are staying next door at the waterpark hotel to keep her amused (she plays, but I think that a con might be a little bit much for a newbie 9 year old player). The AS&SH games were on my list, but they have filled quickly... I'll have a great time no matter what I'm playing, I'm sure I'm in Michael's Saturday night OD&D crawl, and that was on my list of events!

Friday night game moved to Saturday. Ohh okay I see. If we miss the start of it, could we come join in at some other point? If not, could we just stay and watch? I read the synopsis of the game and it sounds like a lot of fun.

Shirts arrived much earlier than expected! Cannot wait. If you see me at the con - say hi! It'd be nice to associate some faces with avatars/usernames.

My extreme apologies to mrmanowar whom I ran into but initially did not hear him say "OD&D forums". The dang place was really loud and busy at that point -- and I honestly did not expect people to recognize me. 😝
Also ran into Zenopus which was neat!

Did you guys say hi to Michael? When I talked to Mr. Mornard on Friday, he complained that no one else from the OD&D Discussion board had come up to him by then.
I also talked to our board alum Allan Grohe, Michael Shorten/ChicagoWiz, and played Dragon Lairds with Zenopus there!
