I recently acquired the LLB's from an ebay auction - all were in great shape but Book 3: Underworld and Wilderness Adventures is missing 8 pages or rather, 8 pages are blanks. The pages are physically there but there seems to have been a misprint and only one side of the actual sheet has printing (so that 2 of the 4 pages on each sheet is blank)!!! Has anyone ever seen something like this before in later prints of the LLBs??? I reckon these are about 5th or 6th print (based on the ad copy in the back - it lists Holmes Basic and has prices). The seller is willing to send me a replacement in return for the defective book, but the possible replacements are in poor condition (stained, bad staples, writing on the cover, etc). Also, does anyone happen to have an extra copy of U&WA they are willing to trade for my extra copy of M&T? Here are pics of the M&T I'm willing to trade: goo.gl/photos/QJ9qnia9FYwbppMf7Here are pics of the U&WA misprint (in otherwise great condition): goo.gl/photos/2rqbV7CaJx1G1HMy9Cheers!

Thank you for sharing pictures. What a remarkable printing error! You're welcome. What would you do in my situation (or anyone following this, for that matter)? I've got the 2013 reprints of these books as well - so I have the text...I just wanted to have good play-copies of LBB's at the table - I wanted everything to fit in one small "white box" (even my campaign notes/maps are in a small journal).

Well...if it was me, I might just keep the misprinted copy, as it seems so much more unique. You could print out loose leaves for the pages you're missing and insert them in the copy, so there would be no information you're missing.

I also have the old pdfs (scans) of these books. I was actually thinking about taking out the old staples and printing onto the actual blank sides of the sheets - but that would take a lot of time (and probably $$$) at the local print shop (not to mention, it might ruin the uniqueness).

My childhood friends had a copy of module B1 that had two completely blank pages.

I have a copy of Eldritch Wizardry that has an extra cover. Two printed covers were folded in the middle and stapled together with the rest of the book.
