We want this board to be unfethered by any sorts of legal mumbo-jumbo, so we cannot condone this.


And since this is the second time this week that I have to address the issue, let me be absolutely clear:

We want to protect the intellectual properties of those in our own community RIGHT HERE that do write, or are otherwise moonlighting in small-press RPG publishing.

Consequently, we won't have any sort of double standard concerning the treatment of copyrighted items of any sort, just because the owner is a "faceless company", or because it would perhaps suit our own sense of convenience. The law's the law: Fair use is okay, but everything that goes beyond it is not.

Sure, stuff for free is always nice; but how can we publicly promote to obtain it illegally, and at the same time ask people to respect the integrity of our friends?

There are other places, where this is allowed, even welcomed. OD&D '74 is not one of them.

I think I watched the series back when it was shown on TV. Nothing otherworldly, but okay for its time. I actually thought it was very sad it didn't get another season.
