Anyone registered on these sites? I have done a dozen or so Vassal games but it has been awhile. Someone local told me about en.boardgamearena.com/ - It is free and you can play some games live/real time for free. The games are of the lighter board game variety. I registered on there, if anyone wants to try it out with a quick game of backgammon or Jaipur or something let me know. I am on PST west coast USA

I get some PBeM games going on Vassal on occasion, along with some live phone Skype/Vassal games. What do you like to play on there?

On board game arena I am jumping on there this evening to give it a try with a friend. The games on there are of the light variety. We are going to play Jaipur and backgammon to try it out. It looks very straightforward and most games have how to play instructions and videos. You can also lurk in on anyone playing live to check out any game that interests you.

I'm currently playing Avalon Hill's We the People on ACTS/VASSAL and really enjoying the experience. I'd be happy to start another game with anyone here.

Hi , not sure where you are located, I am in the west coast USA, PST time zone. I have some free time after work early next week if you may be up for a vassal game. I have played We the People once face to face about 9 months ago. Or I could teach Up Front or a number of other games

My schedule doesn't allow for face-to-face right now, even via Skype, etc. But, I've been playing WTP at a pretty good clip PBEM -- making several moves a day on most days. If you're still interested, PM me.

Just noticed the game Vampyre by TSR (mini game) is a vassal module available to play for free. This is a light beer & pretzels game that can play up to 6 people. If anyone is up for this sometime I bet it would be a fun 90 minute game to try. I own a hard copy and have played it. We could hook up also on google+ hangouts for voice/video chat. Anyone up for this sometime? www.vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Vampyre

I hear both of these sites are having record numbers of online users with what's going on.

Got on Vassal for awhile today with a buddy. Did a walk through of Warriors of God module (MMP), as will be playing that next.
Played a game of 13 Days. Lost by 1 point. Quite tense.

I notice the new Vassal 3.4.7 installs without the whole Java suite looks like it has its own runtime version. I really like this, never wanted all the java suite on my computer.
