For anyone needing to post here.
This is the east and southeast parts of the city (on both sides of the river, designated by F and G on the map). It is sometimes known as Verboekberg, the Gnomish name for it, since so many gnomes live here.
This quarter includes the following locations: 1) Players Inn, 2) Bronze Unicorn Inn, 3) Temple of the One True Path, 4) Civic Barns, 5) Maurell's Metal Emporium, 6) Pampered Polecat Bathhouse (brothel), 7) Big Weapons, 8) Higden's Place for Gnomes (tavern), 9) Clennam's Clothes & Tailor, 10) Clennam's Cheese Shop, 11) Brass Rail Tavern, 12) Bunsby's Brewery, 13) Rhenee Town (row of houses owned by the Rhenee), 14) Lestrange's (tavern & gambling den?), 15) St. Cuthbert's Orphanage, 16) Viscount's Army Station House, 17) Velverdyva Courier Service

Day 15, turn 13 for Joaquim, Marcel:
The two men from Greyhawk returned to their room at the Bronze Unicorn and went over the spoils from the dead thief. After doing their best to appraise everything, they separated out what they believed to be mundane items and found that left them with these items that seemed to be of remarkable quality and/or composed of/decorated with precious metals -- the leather armor, the two rings, and the lockpicks.

Day 15, turn 13 for Ximo:
Emmanuelle and Ximo's field trip took them all the way to Clennam's Cheese Shop in the Foreign Quarter. There, beside a carriage, stood a man with a huge, waxed mustache, a round, bald chin, and wearing a bright red vest and sash over more mundane, upper-class clothes. He wore tall boots, but kept to the cleaner, higher side of the street. The man looked to be about 60 and, for all his flamboyance, still had an air of charisma about him. "Careful with that," he was saying with a smile, and a hint of a threat, both at the same time, to a servant loading a large wrapped cheese wheel into the carriage.
"Hello, Robert*," Emmanuelle said as they drew near each other. "Greater gods, what is that stench? I can smell it through the wrapping."
"That? Ah, you were never a connoisseur," Robert responded. "Come home with me and try some!"
"Can't. Would love to, of course, but we're training today."
"Another student comes to me, eh?" Robert shook Ximo's hand. "You must ride with me, young man. I will drop you off back at the Silver Consortium, but we must have a long talk."
Emmanuelle confirmed this was all part of the plan. "I'll meet you back there, Ximo."

Day 15, turns 14-16 for Caltaran, Ramon, Marcel, Clybe, (Koldo, Fortunato):
Marcel had a lot of time to kill while he waited for Joaquim to rest and re-prepare his spells. Marcel was well past his hangover at this point and feeling famished, having barely been able to touch food this morning before all the excitement.
The inn was quiet, which was good -- privacy was going to be of paramount importance to their plans. Marcel made subtle inquiries into whether there was a private room that was reserved just for meetings. He was told no, though the gaming room was sometimes shut down to serve for private parties, but the innkeeper asked 10 gold for that.
Eventually, Ramon showed up with Koldo and Fortunato. Later still, Caltaran and Clybe showed up together. It was still going to be awhile before Joaquim could join them, but they did have much to discuss.
Ramon had been to the temple by now and knew that Joaquim and Marcel's story checked out.

As the others arrived, Marcel played host, ordering food and drink for the group, and making small talk until everyone had arrived.
"Is this enough representation to start," Marcel asked, once Clybe and Caltaran were there. "Joaquim is indisposed at the moment, but he may be down before we've finished, depending on how long things take. Ximo, the other mage we mentioned, might be along at some point too. I believe he's staying here. Was the Temple of the Journey planning to send somebody?"
"I think this is enough representation to start," Ramon said. He had been diligently making friendly and interested small talk with each of the others as they arrived but was now willing to start the discussion. He waited patiently for everyone's attention before he spoke again.
"I think it is very important that this meeting be kept to those present, plus Joaquim and the rest of Harvester's Heroes. If we wish to include this Ximo character that is fine as well. But the Cult has agents everywhere and I do not want them to learn of our plans. So," Ramon took a breath and tried not to stare at Caltaran as he spoke, "if you do not think you can keep things secret, please leave. Let me expand a bit, I'm including in this desire for secrecy the higher arms of our respective Temples and Consortia or what have you. I worry the conspiracy extends quite high in the City."

Caltaran says "I am duty bound to serve the temple , however I agree there is some conspiracy and infiltration in the leadership positions by the cult. I will keep this secret as the cult needs to be brought to justice and destroyed. Also in the last dungeon delve mission in ryemond ximo was in my party and he did an excellent job."

"Very well. I have been asked by the leaders of the Temple of Heavenly Virtues to lead an attack on the Cult at Dieg Manor," Ramon said. He waited for responses and continued, "I know that most if not all of you have been wanting to go after that location for some time now. Auguries by the priests of the Temple indicate that the time has come. But they also caution care. It is my view that we must act with as much surprise as we can manage while preparing the way for a major attack."
Ramon had had enough of the pulpit for the moment and so he said, "I have ideas but I would like to hear what ideas you might have that match the paired goals of surprise and decisive victory."

Day 15, turns 16a for Caltaran, Ramon, Marcel, Clybe, (Koldo, Fortunato):
"Two weeks ago, I wouldn't have wanted to have anything to do with this plan," Koldo said. "But I've seen Ramon, and the Harvester's Heroes, do some amazing things. I've seen Ramon stare down a dragon. I think we can handle this cult."
"My group wants in on this plan," Fortunato said, "but we have a deadline of three days to participant -- if we take on a special mission for the Viscount. Interestingly, the exact wording was that we were invited to take on the special mission. Maybe the Viscount was just being polite, or maybe there's some wiggle room for us to step out of going and deal with Dieg Manor instead."

Caltaran says "I would like in on this assault and I also would like to recruit a warrior that worked with me well in the ryemond excursion named Semer. Semer is a brave warrior, honerable and knows chain of command. Which reminds me why did the cult attack the church and the harvestors HQ. Was this for pure chaos or are their other reasons?"

"I agree that we should expand our forces. But for the time being I would prefer to keep those 'in the know' to a minimum. But, assuming everyone you mention is willing, that puts us at thirteen 'adventurers.' If Frar joins us," he said to Fortunato," we will be fourteen. When the time comes I would like to bring in forces from the Church Army and perhaps the Viscount to support our attack," Ramon said. "But I think we can bring those forces in much closer to the deciding moment."
"Fortunato, perhaps we can find some other group to escort the treasure to Celene? If not, I think we can make this attack in three days. Enough time to prepare, sound out potential recruits, and eventually get the Temple and whoever else to provide the support we want."

Day 15, turns 16b for Caltaran, Ramon, Marcel, Clybe, (Koldo, Fortunato):
"As I understand it," Fortunato said in answer to Caltaran's question, "the attack on the temple was a diversion while it was searched for some item. As for the attack on our guildhall, I believe that was to try and take us out of the equation, either to keep us from defending the temple, or to prevent us from going after the cult afterwards."
A bit later in the conversation, Fortunato spoke up again. "There are other adventurers in Verbobonc the Viscount's men could find and recruit, but none so organized as the Harvester's Heroes," Fortunato said, as if bragging a little. "Until today's attack, we were leaning towards accepting the Viscount's offer, but now this raid on the manor is our top priority."
"Let's continue to keep this whole thing 'in the family' for now," Ramon sighed. "I confess I am not suited to conspiracy. I wish we could just trust in the good hearts of those around us. And distrust is what the Cult wants. But this seems like the best way. We don't want them to have three days to fortify themselves and prepare for our attack."
Ramon looked around, "Are there ideas for how best to use these few days to get ready?"

Caltaran says "well I was relieved of command of the next dungeon investigation in ryemond. So unless I get new orders I can help out the harvesters of they need anything. I do have a funeral service I need to speak at for a party member lost in the ryemond mission. Otherwise when we are ready let me know. Perhaps let's use this inn as our HQ/meeting place. "

"How in the Abyss does that dungeon in Ryemend factor in to any of this anyhow," Marcel asked. "The information we got out of a cultist we captured was that it was being prepared as a lair for the Cult's leader. The big honcho apparently had just got to town. How is it connected to Dieg Manor? Should we take another stab at Ryemend over the next few days? Maybe draw the cult's eye away from our real target?"
"I like that plan. Are you willing to organize such an action? The Heroes could act as though they are planning to take the Viscount's offer, just in case that secret is not so secret. I'm happy to offer my mace and prayers in Ryemend. In between preparing for the main event."
Caltaran says to Marcel " high priest Marion Vivien fulgencio lefurgy assigned me the task for the ryemond dungeon. The dracolisk was reported heading to the direction of the ryemond dungeon. Current intelligence was goblins were there. I was assigned this mission as a fact finding mission. The high priest assigned me semer since he was there before. I was told to find any leaders of these goblins, any connection with the cult and also the dracolisk. I told the high priest that a day ago i was attacked by a priest who worshipped lloth. The high priest confirmed that these priests wield evil magic and were associates of the cult and see if that priest was in the dungeon. When my group came back one was killed and I was releaved of command by arch deacon Ferraro. The arch deacon said another cleric will be in command of be third sanctioned mission. So if we go this would be unofficial."
Clybe was largely confused by the conversation because, while most of the events being referred to were happening, he was either on his way back with Axen or undergoing training, so he felt he was missing out on a bunch of key information. He took Ramon aside for a few seconds.
"Ramon, you guys are obviously involved in something complex here. I do not know what is going on for certain, but I trust you and the others in this room. I followed Caltaran here because I was seeking help with a phantom. I am happy to help out here in whatever way proves useful in the raid on Dieg Manor. So, feel free to assign me to help as needed."
Clybe then stepped outside, found a boy on the street, and gave him a few silver pieces to carry a message back for him to the Adept, outlining what was happening and the help Clybe believed he had secured. He then went back to Caltaran, suggesting that they could return to deal with the phantom after dinner, as he discussed with the Adept earlier.

"A phantom? That is strange. Where did you see it? Under the Temple? I encountered something like that during my training, but it never became clear to me what it was. After this meeting breaks up I'm happy to come with you to take a look," Ramon said to Clybe.

"I'm guessing I can convince the Church to let me head up the next foray into Ryemend," Marcel said. "Lets set it for two days from now. Gives us a day in between each of the assaults to recover. If that doesn't work for the Church, too bad. Looking around this room, I think we have the resources to do it without them if we need to. Not that I'd turn down the extra help."
Joaquim jumped in. "I'll talk to the Consortium. See if they can offer any aid."
"I don't know what fact-finding mission means," Marcel continued. "But I'm pretty sure this ain't going to be one. We're going in there to shut this place down. Unless that dragon really is under there, in which case we're getting the heck out."
"We could really use someone who's good with traps," Joaquim added, mostly directed toward Fortunato.
"I'm sure the Church won't mind letting you lead a foray down there," Ramon said to mollify the two men. "Whatever we do, let's treat this like our main response to the latest attacks. I will handle letting the Temple hierarchy know we are working on something bigger. And I think I can get them to allow me to join your attack in Ryemend."
"If you cannot go along, Fortunato, perhaps you know someone who could do that job? We might need to know someone like that for the attack on the Manor, too. One trapsmith is unlikely to be enough. No matter how good you are."

Caltaran says " what I was told was to observe and report any leaders of these goblins and also if the dracolisk was there in ryemond. Granted my group was more search and destroy outfitted them stealth. As far as the plan go this is fine with me. Another crack at the ryemond dungeon and of course Diego manor is definite what we need to do. Count me in on both attacks. For now let's finish our meal and Ramon and I can assist clybe with this phantom matter."
