Combinable games, such as the Quad tray games from SPI (if memory serves) or similar.
I am a fan of games formed around a common ruleset. Series of games such as No Retreat or the 20 series, FAB etc.
What do you like along these lines?
On a boardgame related note I am enjoying a lot of Roma & Roma II (Arena Roma ) combined at the moment.

I would like the opportunity to try War at Sea combined with Victory in the Pacific

I used to smash games together to see how they play out, as long as they seem to have similar combat and movement ratings.
PRESTAGS (not a quad but 5 games) combines well with other ancient/midieval/fantasy SPI systems such as Sword & Sorcery or War of the Rings or Sorcerer.
As with my OD&D games, I try not to stress too much if ratings don't exactly match up. (E.g. a swordsman unit might be attack 4 in one game, attack 3 in another.) I can easily rationalize that some units are better trained than others.

That's quite a list. I know that I played several of those back in the day, but I don't own many wargames any more. The guy who introduced me to OD&D back in '75 was an avid wargamer and he owned most of AH's and SPI's product line and I didn't have much motivation to buy wargames back then, so my collection today is limited to a few that I really liked more than the rest. (Or those I scooped up from e-bay in the last few years.)

This is what I remember about the quads. Quads are low detail, low sim/realism games that are more like puzzles, but can be a lot of fun
BLUE & GRAY I (QUAD) Four Civil War Battles ACW Irad Hardy,John Young, Ed Curran & Kip Allen 01-May-75 - played this one many times, a mixed bag but Shiloh and Chickamauga are fun
CRIMEAN WAR (QUAD) Four Battles of the Crimean War 19th Century Steve Ross 01-Apr-78 - I enjoyed the system, and I think I liked three of the games
GREAT WAR IN THE EAST (QUAD) Four Battles from the First World War IWW Dave Isby 01-Sep-78 - great system, unbalanced scenarios
NAPOLEON'S LAST BATTLES (QUAD) The Waterloo Campaign, June 1815 Napoleonic Kevin Zucker Jay Nelson 01-Sep-76 - Ligny and Quatre Bras are tense, the ability to play as one campaign game is the draw here
THIRTY YEARS' WAR (QUAD) Four Battles from the Thirty Years War Pre 1800 Brad Hessel Rob Mosca and Tom Walczyk 01-May-76 - simple system, fun-to-play games

"I am a fan of games formed around a common ruleset."
All of the tactical games--squad level, platoon level--use this approach: ASL, ATS, Band of Brothers, Combat Commander, Conflict of Heroes, Lock n'Load, Nations at War, PanzerGrenadier, War Storm, etc., with no end of future modules and scenarios in sight.
Plus GMT has their long-running Flying Colors, Great Battles of the American Civil War, Great Battles of History, Men of Iron, and Musket & Pike series.
And MMP has the GTS, OCS, SCS, and TCS systems, with multitudinous games for each.

Bonus points for using the word "multitudinous" in a sentence!
