You go to aim you last shot when you catch a glimpse of someone by the stairwell door...your shot hits the goon in the left shoulder causing him jerk back on his left side. You then dash towards the tommy gun under the other, now dead, goon...
Agent CLARK fires his final shot at the goon in the door way...
AG: 86 1d00 = 18 -10 mod, 28, hit...
a fraction of a second after you shoot the goon in the shoulder he is again hit in the lower chest...3 points damage...
The goon fires as you run past him to the sub-machine gun...
AG: 56 1d100 = 15 -20 Mod for running target, 35 hit,
As you bolt past the door you take a penetrating hit to your right shoulder (6 points damage)
Ref: You have 9 points of damage. The goon is suffering 18 points of damage!

"Watch your back in the hallway, Clark!"
I'll grab the tommy gun from under the goon if possible. "You need to surrender, now. It's your only chance to live." You roll the dead body over and retrieve the 45 cal Thompson Sub-Machine gun. The gun has a 50 round drum and has fired 2 bursts (20 rounds). There are 30 left. The weapon can fire either single shot or full automatic. After you pick up the weapon you face the door and yell your warning...the goon is no longer visible having retreated into the room... Agent CLARK quickly reloads his handgun then turns to look behind himself. He then yells "Got him. It's our new friend Sir Lancelot. Musta followed us up..." Ref: roll for OBS. What do you do next?

I'll see if there are any other drums or clips on the goon, and then I'll reload my .45 as well as I place myself against the wall in front of the room. I'll do that as quickly as possible.

I'll do that as quickly as possible. You quickly check for another 50 round drum but find nothing. You then reload your 45 Auto. As you pull the slide back, loading a round into the chamber, you hear the faint but unmistakable sound of a shotgun being "racked." Agent CLARK can be seen in the door way pointing his handgun down the hall in the direction of the elevator lobby. He is heard to say "That's close enough. Let me see your hands, Lance. I wouldn't want to accidentally shoot you for no reason..." Ref: What do you do next?

I'll head to the door frame of the bedroom where the hoodlum went in. I'll duck down and point the Tommy Gun at the frame so that if the hood comes out or tries to fire, I'll blast him. I'm ducked down super low, hoping that he'll be looking up higher for someone to shoot at.

Agent CLARK walks out of view in the direction of the elevator lobby to where he indicated Lance TERRELL is coming from... There is a slight creaking sound of a door moving...it's not the one in front of you... Ref: roll for surprise!

The second door in the room opens quickly and another goon steps out holding a shotgun. He has bandages on his head and arm...he jumps out, points the shotgun into the room then quickly snaps his head towards you when he realizes you are on the floor in front of the first room, not by the dead goon. He quickly turns the shotgun in your direction...

I'll rush up to him, grab the shotgun and cuff him while keeping an eye out on the other bedroom door, and the door to the hallway. As you cuff the wounded goon and secure the shotgun Agent CLARK enters the room with lance TERRELL. TERRELL is handcuffed behind his back and is struggling. Agent CLARK pushes him into a chair then says AC: "Wait there and shut up!" Lance responds, LT: "you ain't got nuthin on me! What the hell are you arresting me for?" AC: "How about conspiracy to commit? How about aiding and abetting? How about anything else I can think of?" Agent CLARK looks at you and say's, AC: "You OK? You got everybody or is someone unaccounted for?"

"Okay" I'll help drag the captives down to the car and back to the office. "Let's interrogate these guys, pronto." You and Agent CLARK hustle the 2 suspects down to the elevator and through the lobby... As you ext the elevators and walk towards the main doors the hotel manager approaches and say's HM: "what is the meaning of this? That is my house detective! Who do you think you are!" Lance TERRELL looks up at the hotel manager and says LT: "Let Al know, OK. He'll take care of this." The wounded goon then speaks up saying G: "They're takin us to the Fed office. Let'em know that too!" Ref: franchiseblade? Is that still "franchise??"

Yes, it's still me. Thank goodness. lol sorry about the confusion To the hotel Manager, "Yes, please let Al know. We'll be expecting him too. We have a place reserved for him."
We'll head down to the Fed office and set up our interrogation. You and Agent CLARK escort the 2 arrested suspects to the BOI car without further incident. Agent CLARK drives and you take them back to the Federal Building and the BOI office. The office is lengthwise from the door in the shape of a rectangle. There are 2 rooms at the far end. One is the storeroom for weapons and equipment. The room next to it has a cage type door and is the temporary holding call. It is 5' wide and 10' long with one bench along the far wall for the whole length of the room. The bench could hold 5 arrested persons. You and Agent CLARK put the 2 goons you arrested into the holding cell after removing their handcuffs. Agent CLARK locks the cell door then heads to his desk. He removes his jacket then sits down and picks up his phone. He looks up at you and says, AC: "Take a desk, Agent. We'll have to start writing this up." Agent CLARK then calls the Chicago Police to report the shooting and the dead body left behind in room 414. He requests the body be taken to the morgue and held for identification for the BOI file. Agent CLARK looks at you and say's AC: "Do you recognize the guy you shot?" Ref: roll for OBS
