Since Ruby was sent down in front, I would imagine she is on the left file in the front row. That way, she won't get in the way of an errant sword strike from a right-handed combatant. She is one step out of file so she can turn quickly if she has to, and because her low Wisdom prevents her from remembering to stay in line.

"Zebulon, I give you the honor of - Zebulon? Zebulon? I could have sworn he descended with us. No matter. Cedric, I give you the honor of minding our rear flank. I see you are ready! Our companions have arrayed themselves most belligerently. Excellent!
The entrance passage headed East, and then turned North, with the door to the East, natural passage to the West.
The door opens easily to reveal a room approximately 30' North/South, 20' East/West, but the Eastern wall is angled in three sections (as if half of an octagon). The entrance is in the Northern 10' of the West wall. The room is empty but for some trash strewn on the floor and a bloodstain on the South wall. There do no appear to be any more exits.
Orofer holds his sword before him and down, loosely turning trash away before he steps anywhere, and enters the room. He will do a brief perimeter check of the walls, looking for anything suspicious, ending at the bloodstain, but not actually standing in front of it (for fear of a trap).
Currently running OD&D Verbosh Campaign (I can usually squeeze in an extra player)
Heading North the natural passage turns West and then North again, traveling some 30 feet, with the narrowest section about 3' wide before opening into a 10' passage heading North.
The 10' passage goes 10' and then T's into a 10' East/West passage that immediately turns North either direction (so the entire East/West passage is 30' long with opening North, opening South, opening North). The Western passage North has an immediate 10' opening West while the Eastern passage has an immediate opening 10' East. It looks like those passages end with a total of 30', You can't see the "inside" walls of those passages yet.
And now is probably a good time to ask again how you want to do mapping? Shall I map for you, or do you want to attempt to map from my descriptions? If the latter, feel free to ask any clarifying questions (and even show me your map and until we get a rhythm I'll help iron out any issues - I would take this as an opportunity to develop a descriptive method that works reasonably well).
