Happy Thanksgiving!
I got in more gaming (with my visiting in-laws and nephews) than at any time since our first kids were born three years ago-three games of Agricola (which I had introduced my in-laws to three years before), two games of Ogre (which was new to them) and a number of games of Blockhead, which everyone including the three-year olds could play. We even got played one session of Zylarthen, my first since the game went public almost a year ago. See the Zylarthen thread for a quick play report.
But of course, the most important thing was just being with family and friends. At one point we had thirteen kids and five adults (among three families) in our semi-open loft. All the kids seemed to get along very well except when they were fighting. And my in-laws had brought along a three-foot high medieval tent, of all things, that had been used for a school homecoming display or something. The kids spent much of their time climbing in and out of it, filling it up with stuffed animals or cars, hiding from other kids inside, etc.
My three-year old daughter seemed to love the idea of Agricola, though of course she was too young to play. After the other families had gone home she told me she was growing carrots, and a few minutes later asked me to come over and see. There were all the carrot counters (about twenty of them) in a pile on two fields. Later, when from across the room I asked her what she was a doing, she said she was building a tower of sheep and cows to put into her spaceship.
Today we recover. Happy Thanksgiving to all again!

An absolutely fantastic report! Glad you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Oakes! That bit about the tower for sheep and cows to go in a spaceship is priceless!! Cheers!

Sounds like you did it right, Oakes!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I spent some time with family and was also able to squeeze in some reading on viking age Denmark in preparation for a future campaign.

Happy Thanksgiving all!
The kids are back home on this end, we've been binge watching "Trailer Park Boys", some football, and the game of choice has been Cards Against Humanity.

Haha, that's a great fricken' picture "I told you not to have Olaf carve the turkey, he's a bit overzealous"
