Strategic Review v1 #1 missing pages
« Thread Started on Aug 30, 2011, 11:14am »

Hello, this is my first post to the board. I'm getting two OD&D campaigns ready at the moment, and this board has been a great resource.

In reading through the Dragon Archives, I've notice that the pdf of Strategic Review #1 included has six pages. Unless it was originally printed as single sheets or a brochure, it seems that it must be missing two pages.

Is there anyone with a physical copy or sterling memory that can provide some insight on this?

I don't have a physical copy but I just went through my PDF - it appears to be quite complete at 6 pages. It must have been an 11" x 17" sheet with a 8 1/2" x 11" sheet in the middle, folded up and mailed. Originally it was a newsletter.

That would work too. I was thinking it might've just been printed doubled sided, folded & taped/stapled shut for mailing.

...and I realize now I should've posted this in OD&D Study and not Workshop.

It's been years since I've looked at an original, but this sounds right. I think there was a loose page in the middle of a larger folded one.

I haven't seen a physical copy in years either (I had #1 and #2 at one point - should have taken better care of 'em :'( ) but I can't see anything missing, either. \
