I'm talking about artists who are willing to contribute illustrations. I don't want us to have to make any more financial contributions out of pocket - I'm hoping sales will begin to pick up the slack on paid artwork. There's a lag time between sales and cash receipts, but some cash should begin to trickle in starting Nov 15 (Lulu's next payment date). That's why we charge for those little supplements I've been writing and posting on Lulu; to have some cash to put back in.
I will talk to John Adams (that's Coleston) about doing the layout. I thought Verhaven had volunteered and gotten in touch with you, but that was a while ago. I'll go ahead and email John.

I remember having brief contact with someone, and I could check my PMs to see if I can recreate the conversation.
On the other hand, John's stuff is pretty well put together, so I'm sure he'd be great at formatting. (Also, he's really wanted a peek at it...)

Myth, you forwarded me to James M. and we've had small bits of discussions here and there concerning Knockspell. But I'm not really sure about the status of that in any case. I'd be willing to do layout for the White Box, and I can send a sample of my work to whomever wants to make that decision.
Good God, John, there are probably 4e players on ENWorld who know you're dying to see the WB rules!
Verhaven - it's probably my memory that's failing. If you've talked to James M about Knockspell, then I didn't have you set to do the WB; I tried to make sure everyone had only one project to run. Probably it was Grim - and I've got plenty of other stuff for him, so we can let John do it.

Hey, I've been waiting since June.
I thought I was being patient? This whole S&W project has been my education in OD&D.
My "latest" learning that "clicked in my brain is how the characters are probably adventuring more out of personal gain rather than some "greater good."

Fair enough. I will, however, be putting together my own *.pdf of Swords and Wizardry sometime in the future for my own use. I'll probably wait until WB is released before I get started though.

Yeah, I've just been slow and I apologize for it. I thought we were pretty much done in August and just as school was starting (I'm a teacher) I got a huge pile o' feedback about things that really weren't right. At that point my time was more limited and all, which is really no excuse at all, but I just didn't follow through. Hopefully when you see what I've done it'll be worth the wait.

I wasn't complaining. I'm quite impressed with S&W. I've always had difficulty memorizing rules and lots of levels of spells. OD&D just seems more natural to me.
