Welleran lives in Alexandria, which is only an hour away. Have you guys ever touched base about getting together? Might work out, who knows.

I can't remember if he's on this board, but he's on K&KA. Super nice guy. Met him at Gary Con this year.

I live in the heart of the Blue Grass, Lexington Ky. Home of Thoroughbred horse racing and very good Bourbon. Getting ready for the Fall racing meet, I'll be bar-tending out at the Keeneland race track.

Noticed going through this thread that ragnorakk & ghostofmarx are from here ;D

Around here, an hour away is a relative term. Technically where I work is only an hour away but it sometimes takes 3HOURS to get home on a Friday evening. Traffic in these parts is a major barrier to gaming with anyone who isn't really local especially if the trip is in the North/South corridor anywhere between Richmond and D.C.

I have met a fair number of cool gamers from the Northern VA area. The commute is just too much of a PITA for regular gaming.
