Street clothes purchased. [Anything for Fated to Die? Or just the clothes in the duffel bag?] Customs official bribed and sweet-talked. MOR's toad-corpse sold at market value. Forklift and Teamsters at your disposal. What's next?
Breath grabs a quick breakfast-to-go from a street vendor on her way past, some kind of fried meat (which she is careful not to inquire into very closely) on a toasted bun with an egg.

Well, since the house is not his, The Shade will take queue off of the new owner. If he wants to just walk right in and start going room to room, then The Shade will assist. If he wants to do some other tactic, then The Shade will help him in whatever way he can. But he does look at Minion and communicate, *Closer to the University would mean easier access to its library.*
In the mean time, The Shade of the Evermore contemplates what the title of the story of his life might now be...
"The Aberration of Arkham"? "The Haunted House on Hill Street"? Or, simply, "The Shade of the Evermore"?
For he could certainly star in a Lovecraftian-style novella at this point...

Gunnery would prefer a place that has a commanding view of the surrounds, and says so.
Once a premises has been secured, whatever it is, Gunnery will walk the perimeter, looking for strong and weak spots, assuming the zombie apocalypse starts tonight.

When Fated selects a place..
Minion performs much the same sort of review as Gunnery, but based on the mystic and sorcerous topography of the area, rather than the physical topography. To do this, he divests himself of his clothing so that he can "feel the eldritch vibrations of the place in his bones."

In the bottom-left corner, directly next to where the waterway is labeled 'Hangman's Brook' is a house with attached orchard and modest fields.
The orchard is of apple trees, the fields are fallow. Within the house are a library with attached sunroom, a small basement accessed via rug-concealed trapdoor, a turreted rooftop observation nook accessed via a ladder & hatch from the attic, and a small row boat (10'-15') that two men could carry to the Miskatonic with no problems.
Fated purchases several articles of clothing appropriate for a farmer's lifestyle.
I think we should walk in like we own the place, and if someone's there we make hasty apologies and leave. If it's unoccupied, projecting an air of confidence will keep the neighbors from wondering too much about us...
