Potential problem with going to the spider temple - they asked us to stay out of the sewers... Not sure we want to get them asking too many questions...

Sorry, I'd forgotten about that. So, stables it is, then!

Ok, we will head to the stables, making it look like we are carrying a drunk and passed-out comrade. Hopefully no one will disturb us...

After some tense moments, you smuggle Scamper into the stables and cover him with straw, then stumble to bed. What do you do in the morning?

While he's doing that, William and his men will keep watch over the body. Except for one, among the booted, who will buy boots for the rest of us. (2 pair each; high, hard if they have them.)

Patronus has arranged a service for Scamper at the Temple of Tyr for noon. You should figure out what size donation to give to the temple. The mundane shopping goes as planned. OOC: I will work out xp tonight

Flandil replenishes his lamp oil, and goes to see Mathan at the Red Axe.

What do you plan to do with the spider brooches you found?

Gallaine goes into the inn and takes a bath and has her clothes and boots cleaned. When she no longer smells as though she has been in the sewers, she rejoins the company. (it might be best to clean up before speaking with the spider priests -- else they'll realise what we've been up to!)

Good idea! William will also have a bath, and pay for his men to have one (each) as well. Then he'll buy another lantern and 6 flasks of oil, plus a week's iron rations for himself and his men, too.

I think we should hold onto the spider broaches for a while. Perhaps at some point, we will find a portion of the sewers clearly not so connected to the spider temple and we can say we found them there.
